[A self-contained gifted and talented class organized around one or more academic disciplines; meets away from the regular classroom for a specific amount of time each day (Grades 3-12).]

M = Multi-age Classroom

[Grades one and two only; a multi-age classroom for acceleration.]

P = Resource Room/Pull-out

[A self-contained class that meets away from the regular classroom for a specific amount of time each week (Grades 1-12).]

R = Regular Classroom/Itinerant Tchr

[Grades one and two only; itinerant teacher either provides services or acts as consultant to the regular classroom teacher.]

S = Special School

[Full-time gifted and talented magnet school or full-time gifted and talented school within a school; a separate, self-contained school environment exclusively for gifted and talented students (Grade 3-12).]

[Comprehensive Remediation (CR) is an additional layer of academic assistance for students who are in their second consecutive year of an APS in the same subject area, that is students who are on probation. If you are providing a program that meets the requirements of CR to first year students, you should enter these students as an “O.” You must also be able to show that you are providing students on probation with assistance that is over and beyond what you provide to non-probation students.]
