Our union, the Irish National Teachers’ Organisation, (INTO), is promoting a mutual respect campaign for all members of school communities. This is already underpinned in our school’s Home/School Partnership Policy, The INTO’s “Stop. Think” campaign states: “There can be no useful discussion without mutual respect. Every individual in this school community, child, parent/guardian and adult has a right to an environment that is free from bullying or harassment of any kind. We all have a duty to behave in an acceptable and considerate manner. Our relationships must be underpinned by a deep respect, and be characterised by courtesy and tolerance, with regard for the integrity of all”. *************************************************************************************Parents’ Association NewsCóisir Oíche Shamhna: The annual Hallowe’en Party takes place in the Community Centre this Friday, 28th October.
