Clarion-Little Toby Trail: (41.419478, -78.734205) 18-mile crushed-limestone rail-trail along Clarion River and Little Toby Creek from Ridgway to Brockway for hiking, bicycling, & cross-country skiing with ghost towns & swinging bridge. Clarion River Water Trail: (2019 Pennsylvania River of the Year) Nearly 52 miles of the river have been designated as scenic & recreational under the National Wild & Scenic Rivers Act, making it a favorite of paddlers, anglers, & photographers. Maple Trail: (41.564921, -78.592856) easy hiking, 0.5 mile along the southern end of East Branch Lake for wildlife & waterfowl viewing. Mill Creek Trail: (41.603805, -78.788813) connector between Twin Lakes Recreation Area & the Brush Hollow Trail. Just south of Forest Road 138, the Mill Creek Trail leaves the Twin Lakes Trail & heads south through the Kane Experimental Forest & a variety of forest landscapes. The last mile of trail follows an old railroad grade along Big Mill Creek. Pine Tree Trail: (41.379527, -78.279950) Self-guided interpretive trail through the Pine Tree Natural Area in Elk State Forest. Main loop is 1.75 miles with a .45-mile East Hicks section. Quehanna Trail: 75-mile loop trail in the Quehanna Wild Area that passes through some of the most wild & beautiful country in Pennsylvania's wild elk range. Teaberry Loop Trail: (41.261385, -78.258019) 4 miles long, in Moshannon State Forest & features varied & beautiful scenery. Two fantastic vistas, picturesque streams with small waterfalls, & the charming Beaver Run Water Impoundment. Thunder Mountain Equestrian Trail: 53-miles through the 200,000-acre Elk State Forest with two loops for shorter rides. Trailhead is off Hicks Run Road near Route 555. Timberline ATV/OHV Trail: (41.563725, -78.867041) 38 miles of trail that connects to the Marienville ATV Trail. Trailhead at Twin Lakes Recreation Area. Motorbikes & snowmobiles also permitted. Twin Lakes Hiking Trail: (41.613332, -78.763072) 16.3 miles starting at the Twin Lakes Recreation Area, on the Black Cherry Trail, & ends at the North Country National Scenic Trail in the Tionesta Scenic Area. West Creek Trail: (41.451950, -78.547412) 18-mile rail-trail from St. Marys to Emporium for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, & snowmobiling. Open year round. Woodring Farm Interpretive Hiking Trail: (41.342329, -78.360331) interpretive 3/4-mile easy hiking trail, encircling 81 acres of prime elk-viewing habitat with educational panels featuring artwork from local school students.
