3. Performing a Search

To perform a search, enter your search terms (a keyword or phrase) in the Find field and click Search. EBSCO will search for articles containing ALL of your keywords. TIP: more keywords = narrower/more-specific search.

4. Refining a Search

Limiters can be used to refine or focus a search. Limiters: Examples of the most commonly-used limiters for the academic databases include: Full Text, Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals, and Published Date. When you select one or more limiter, that/those limiters focus your search. For example, if you check the Full Text and the Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals limiters, only full text, scholarly articles will appear in the Result List.

Result List Features

The Result List displays the search results (or "hits") according to date (the most recent articles first). The total number of results are displayed above and below the results, on the left side of the screen.

HTML Full Text represents full text availability in the HTML format.
