The Hathaway Scholarship Program provides money for all qualified

Wyoming high school graduates to go to college. Learn which high school

courses are required to receive the different scholarship tiers and plan to

reach these goals in order to earn money for your education.

before grade 9. Must take an additional Hathaway-approved

course in grades 9-12.

courses listed and an additional approved course in grades 9 - 12:

Biology I, Biology II, Geology I, Physics I, Physics II, Chemistry I,

Chemistry II, Physical Science, Computer Science.

Language arts

4 years of Hathaway-approved Language Arts courses in grades

9 - 12 that include the standards: Reading, Writing, Listening, &

Speaking.

SOCIAL STUDIES

3 years of Social Studies in grades 9 - 12 to include a combination

of the subject matter listed: World History, American History,

Geography, American Government, Economic Systems &

Institutions.

FOReign language

Honors & Performance students must take 2 sequenced years

of the same foreign language, which do not need to be back to

back, one of which must be taken in grades 9 - 12. Opportunity

students are not required to take a foreign language.
