This year two $1,000.00 Scholarship will be awarded to fund Two College Students. For a copy of the Guidelines and Application, please visit the POTHE website: for the 2019 James O. Harris / Knights of Columbus Scholarship Form.
If you wish to pick-up, an Application there will be some located at the rear of each Church. If you cannot locate them, then please call Stephen M Griffin @ 517-0481.
Applications received by May 29, 2019 will be considered. Announcement of awards will be made in June 2019 and presented accordingly.

Brother James O. Harris Scholarship Program Sponsored by Holy Eucharist Council 15791
1. Scholarship (s) in the name of Brother James O. Harris will be granted this year by the Knights of Columbus Council 15791.
2. The value of the scholarships (s) will be established by the Council Scholarship Committee and approved by a Council Vote prior to announcement of the application process for that year. This year, two $1,000.00 scholarships will be awarded to fund Two College Students.
3. Eligibility: Daughters/sons of actively participating members of The Parish of the Holy Eucharist who are also participating members of the parish family. Students must attend an accredited college in the fall of the year following application. Students must be a Practical and Practicing Catholic as defined by the Knights of Columbus.
4. Requirements: Interested students must complete an application form including attached essays and submit official college transcripts and mail to the Council Youth Director.
5. Criteria: Application will be judged on the following: ? Academic achievement ? Extracurricular, community, and parish activities/involvement ? Student Essays
6. Selection Process: A committee of three Knights, exclusive of any Knight who may have a competing daughter or son, shall determine scholarship awards. The Council Youth Director will choose the committee but will not participate in the application review or decision-making process. The Scholarship Review Committee Members will choose their own Chairperson who will report to the Council Youth Director. The Youth Director has the responsibility to announce the awards each year and for coordinating the program.
7. Dates: Applications received by May 29, 2019 will be considered. Announcement of awards will be made in June 2019 and presented accordingly.
