Summer Authorizations for School Age Children

Schools will be letting out soon for summer break and resource parents/guardians may need increased child care authorizations for school age children. When contacted, staff is to discuss summertime child care needs with resource parents/guardians and make any necessary changes promptly. Staff should remind resource parents/guardians if their child care needs change, they must contact their Children's Services Worker to report the change. DSS will only pay for authorized units of care.
