58521607302500 Eastview Middle School CELL PHONE/PURSE POLICY 2019-2020Students are allowed to bring cell phones to school. However, phones must be turned off and in their locker. If students need to make an emergency phone call, they can ask to use the office telephone. Students who are caught with cell phones on school property, will receive consequences, beginning with a central detention for a first offense and receiving an “in-school” suspension for additional violations. Girls may bring a purse to school, however, it must remain in their locker.Abuse of these guidelines will result in the phone/purse being stored in the main office until a parent comes to get it. Eastview does not take responsibility for lost/stolen items. It is important that students and parents familiarize themselves with all the policies in the handbook which is located on the Eastview Website.I have been informed about the cell phone/purse policy at Eastview.
