IMPORTANT NOTICE TO APPLICANTS JULY 2009 BAR EXAMINATION

1) The Bar Examining Committee has received proof that you have received your law

degree and, therefore, you have been scheduled to take the Connecticut Bar Examination at the Connecticut Expo Center, 265 Reverend Moody Overpass, Hartford, Connecticut (see enclosed directions) at 8:30 AM on Thursday, July 30, 2009. You should allow plenty of time (because of rush hour traffic) to reach the examination site.

2) APPLICANTS WILL RECEIVE THEIR ADMISSION TICKETS AND EXAMINATION

E NUMBERS AT THE EXAMINATION SITE AT 8:30 AM THE MORNING OF THE

EXAMINATION.

3) ALL APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING A FORM OF OFFICIAL, GOVERNMENT-ISSUED PHOTO IDENTIFICATION TO THE EXAMINATION (e.g., a current,

L valid driver's license or passport). NO ONE WILL BE PERMITTED TO TAKE THE

EXAMINATION WITHOUT SUCH IDENTIFICATION.

4) You are currently registered to sit for only the Connecticut Essay Examination on Thursday, July 30, 2009. You are to appear only on that day. You will not be admitted to the

P examination room on Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Be sure you have filed the necessary MBE

transfer form to have your MBE score sent to Connecticut by the deadline. Please notify the Administrative Office in writing by July 17, 2009 if you plan to take the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) in Connecticut.

5) Any candidate who removes from the examination room any element of the Multistate

M Bar Examination (question pamphlet and/or answer sheet) or any essay answer pamphlet FOR

ANY REASON OR FOR ANY AMOUNT OF TIME will be disqualified from the examination.
