College Pathway

Guide for Parents

Description of Pathway

Colleges provide students opportunities to earn 1-3 year Certificates, Diplomas and Applied Degrees. College programs deliver dedicated programs for specific areas that give students the specialized knowledge necessary for success in their chosen field.

Some programs have degree transfer opportunities where a student can earn a 3-year Diploma at college and transfer some courses to certain university programs where they can earn an undergraduate degree in another 2-3 years.
