5th Grade Supply List 2019-2020

Hi there! Welcome to 5th grade! We hope that you enjoy your summer and are looking forward to

the new school year as much as we are. The first day of school will be here before you know it! You are probably wondering what supplies you'll need for the start of the school year. One

of the most exciting times of the year is when you walk into the store and are faced with aisle upon aisle of shiny new school supplies! We will provide you with many things on the first day of school, but below you will find a list of suggested items that we'd like you to bring on the first day. You can detach the bottom and take it to the store as a checklist if you'd like!

Enjoy your summer! We can't wait to meet you in August and we are looking forward to a FANTASTIC year!!

**************************************************************************************************************** Here are the items we'd like you to bring in your backpack on the first day:

Three 1-subject notebooks with 3 holes (1 green, 1 blue & 1 yellow please) A zippered pouch to keep pens, post-its, etc. 1 box of sharpened #2 pencils [Ticonderoga] A box of pencil top erasers A pencil sharpener that collects shavings A package of 3 X 3 post-it's A set of colored pencils [Crayola] 1 strong folder 1- pack of dry erase markers fine tip/point(approx. 4 markers) [Expo] A box of tissues for the class A healthy snack - we have a snack time each day A picture of yourself reading Your summer Reading List (handwritten or printed from the public library) Your Sailing Through Summer Sheet
