Division of Office of the Minister

Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation

B.E. 2564

By the virtue of section 6 paragraph one and section 9 of the Administrative Regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation ( MHESI) Act B.E. 2562, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation hereby issues the Ministerial Regulation as follows:

Clause 1 Office of the Minister, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, has mission concerning works of political official, in order to support the Minister's tasks and coordinate policies among the Ministries. Office of the Minister shall have the following powers and duties:

(1) to collect and analyze information, screening issues for the Minister, as well as, providing opinion in order to support the Minister's consideration and directives.

(2) to support the Minister's work in political matters by coordinating with other Ministers, the Cabinet, the Parliament and people.

(3) to respond political enquiries, clarifying proposal, bills and other political works. (4) to consider complaints, grievance and petition to the Minister (5) to perform other duties as given by laws or assigned by the Minister or the

Cabinet.

Clause 2 Office of the Minister, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, shall be divided into divisions as follows:

(1) General Administration Division

(2) Political Coordination Division

(3) Academic Service Division

Clause 3 Divisions of the Office of the Minister, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, shall have the following powers and duties:

(1) General Administration Division shall have powers and duties concerning secretarial works and meeting of the Minister, general administration, management of the Office of the Minister, as well as, working with other organizations or supporting the works of related agencies.

(2) Political Coordination Division shall have powers and duties concerning policies coordination among the Ministries and the Cabinet, as assigned by the Minister, public relations, clarifying and making correct understanding to the media, providing information to the media, collecting complaints, grievance and petition to the Minister, as well as, working with other organizations or supporting the works of related agencies.

(3) Academic Service Division shall have powers and duties concerning coordination of works, analysis, screening, providing opinion to the Minister regarding missions of the Minister, studying the situation, analysis of the events, monitoring and reporting political activities in order to support the Minister's issuance of directives, as well as, working with other organizations or supporting the works of related agencies.
