Statement of the Problem:
• What question(s) are you trying to answer?
Introduction page (background information)

• In APA format
• At least 5 sources
Hypothesis:
• Write a possible solution for the problem.
• Make sure this possible solution is written as a complete sentence.
• Make sure the statement is testable.
Variables:
• Independent Variable
• Dependent Variable
• Controlled Variables
Materials:
* Make a list of ALL items used in the experiment.
Procedure:
• Write in complete sentences that explain how you conducted the experiment.
• Your procedure should be written so that anyone else could repeat the experiment.
• Number the steps of each procedure
Results (Data):
• This section should include any data tables, observations, additional notes you make during the lab, and pictures with faces covered.
• This section may require several pages.
• All tables, graphs and charts should be labeled appropriately
Conclusions/Discussion:
• Accept or reject your hypothesis.
• EXPLAIN why you accepted or rejected your hypothesis using data from the experiment.
• Include a summary of the data - averages, highest, lowest, .etc to help the reader understand your results.
• List one thing you learned doing this project that may have been a surprise or eye-opener, and describe how the project is applicable to a real-life situation.
