EXAM REGULATIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS

1. No cell phones allowed in the exam venue.

2. Learners will be exempt from the exams if:

2.1 found to be in possession of any notes, papers and/or books which have not been issued by the supervisor/examiner while writing exams. Candidates are not allowed to keep bags of any nature with them/at their desks whilst writing exams.

2.2 notes are being made on exam papers, answering books or any other documents.

2.3 They help / try to help / attempt to seek assistance / communicate / try to communicate (no matter in which manner) with any other candidate.

3. No one will be allowed to leave the exam venue before the exam session has ended.

4. No eating or drinking allowed inside the exam venue.

5. The answer booklet's pages may not be torn out and the staplers may not be removed.

6. Candidates must make sure that exam books and answer sheet are handed in before leaving the exam venue.

7. Write neatly and legibly in blue ink.

8. Pay special attention to spelling and language structure.

9. Number each answer exactly as the question is numbered.

10. Kindly note that the exam timetable is final and no special requests regarding changing fixed dates will be considered. If for some valid reason (rather the exception to the rule) a candidate is unable to write a specific paper, permission not to write can only be granted by the Executive Head, Mr Enslin.

11. Wearing the school's full school uniform for the duration of the exams is compulsory.

12. Learners can find all their tablet resources under the tab "book resources".

General rules If the length of a paper is only one hour, the first part of the exam session will be used for studying and revision. The paper will then only be written during the second half of the session. Candidates are encouraged to use the allocated time to their advantage and not to rush to finish the paper in the shortest time possible. No one will be allowed to leave the exam venue earlier than scheduled. Disruptive and undisciplined behaviour during an exam session WILL NOT BE TOLEARATED and pupils that misbehave will promptly be dealt with.

NS: When the learners do not write session two and they do not have sport practice, they are allowed to go home after the first session!

There will be a study class every day for learners who can't study at home!
