High Power match will be held on Saturday, May 30th. This will be a 60 round (3 strings of 20) all prone match fired on the NRA No. MR-52. This is a reduced copy of the MR-1 target to simulate the 600-yard stage of the National Match Course at 200 yards. Any safe service rifle, match rifle, hunting rifle or plinking rifle with scope or iron sights is allowed. (you can fire different rifle for each 20 round string if you wish to). With a match fee of only $10 to cover targets, there will not be any giant trophies or big cash awards…… actually, there will not be any trophies or cash awards. Setup will begin about 07:30 and first round will be at 08:30. Please direct any questions to: deathbeforef@Work Party: The Range will be closed for a Work Party on May 2nd. If you are able to help out, the following tools will be useful: shovel, garden rake, weed eater, hammer and electric drill/screwdrivers. NOTE: Trash barrels always need emptying independent of the work parties. Let me know how many you have emptied for work time credit.
