How to Take a Screenshot

A screenshot will take a picture of your entire screen. Before taking the screenshot, make sure that your screen appears as you would like for others to see it.

Windows Users:

1. Find and press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. It may be labeled as "Prt Sc", "Prnt Scrn", "Print Scrn", or something similar. On laptops, you may have to press the "Fn" or "Function" key to use the "Print Screen" function.

2. Open a Microsoft Word document and press “Ctrl+v” to paste the screenshot into the document.

3. Save the document to submit to your instructor.

Mac OS Users:

1. Press “Command+Control+Shift+3” and the picture will be saved to your clipboard and will be ready to paste into a document.

2. Open a Microsoft Word document and press “Ctrl+v” to paste the screenshot into the document.

3. Save the document to submit to your instructor.
