Eternity is Where I AM by Jill Shannon

Joshua’s Song

Words and Music by Jill Shannon © 2019

Scriptures: 1Cor.10:1-12, Ex.3:5-6, Jos.5:13-15, Heb.11:8-10, Ps.110:2-3

Joshua, friend of Moses, the Lord prepared you for this day

Consecrate yourselves to go across the Jordan

For the Lord has put the fear of us in the camp of the idolatrous

He is riding forth ahead of you, and giving you this Land

In Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and saw a man

Arrayed for battle, resolute, a drawn sword in his hand

Are you for us or against us, are you fighting for our enemies

No, but as the Captain of the Lord of Hosts I come

Lord of Hosts, grant us faith, overshadow us with courage

In the fear of the unknown, in the raging fire

Captain of the Hosts above, we cannot prevail without You

Mighty One, Gird Your sword, upon Your thigh

Let Your zeal become our strength in the battle cry

Joshua fell face down on the ground, if I found favor in Your eyes

What would You want to speak to me

Take off the sandals from your feet, the place you stand is holy ground

The Lord is fighting for you

Abraham went out and set his foot upon this ground

He dwelt in tents, his sons would never build a home

He had a promise that his seed one day

Would take possession of his heritage

They looked ahead and saw the Land of God’s eternal plan

Who will rise in that day, in the Day of His power

Who will rule in the midst of Your enemies

Send the rod of Your strength, we will rule out of Zion

Faithful one, His angels come, to fight for us

Faithful one, His angels come, they will fight for us

Four hundred years they slaved away

Where they sold Joseph as a slave

Until the Lord sent His servant Moses

Take off the sandals from your feet, the place you stand is holy ground

I AM the burning fire before you

Tell Pharaoh let my people go, and I will bring them to this Land

There they will bow before Me

Moses led His people freed, across the wilderness

They grieved the Lord and failed the test of faithfulness

A generation lost their destiny, what can we do to guard our victory

Will our faith endure when the wilderness is all we know and see

The Lord is raising up a mighty army in this day

As Moses and Elijah they will preach His Word

As they demonstrate the power of God, the jealous love and fire of the Lord

They will ask this day, “Who will you choose to love and obey?”

I choose a people for Myself, the ones who lean into My heart

When testing comes, they will be faithful

I counsel you to watch and pray, and stand before Me on that Day

You will be counted worthy

There is a Future

Scriptures: Jer.29:11, Ps 40:7-8, Isa 60:1-2, Ps.85:10

I have called you to do my will, until the end you will be with Me

I keep you near to Me, My friend, you are dependent, you rely on Me

You do not hide your face from Me, you keep your heart open and free

It is I who hold you close at night, it is I who strengthens you in the fight

Can you just be with Me? Oh…

Let us go to the Mountain of the Lord

Let us learn of the plans He made for us

We have a holy destiny, a scroll to be fulfilled

Here am I, Oh Lord, I have come to do Your will

You are my treasure, You are my only one

I trust in You, Lord, even as You trust in me

You are Creator, You are my only love

You hold my destiny – You guard it tightly in Your heart

Days of endless glory, Shining star of morning light

Beginning of tomorrow, Your never ending gift of life

His glory will arise on you, when earth is covered with the night

The dwelling of My people will be filled with light

There is a future in our God, a holy plan living in His heart

Look not within, but look to Him, Intimate Maker, we choose the better part

My God, my life, my sustenance, Your radiance streaming from Your countenance

Creation sings, angels bowing low, Redemption’s theme soars above all other hopes

Do not trust in the plans and ways of man

Wait upon the Lord to reveal His perfect plan

In honor and obedience His path will be made clear

We’re crossing over Jordan without fear

You are our Father, You are Redeemer Son

The God of Abraham, the Holy One of Israel

You are Eternal the never-changing One

The Resurrection, alive with You forever more

Blessing, He will bless you, lovingly He’ll keep your heart

Shining, He will make His glory rise on you

Righteousness and peace have kissed

Mercy and His truth have met

Evermore your song will be His mercy

You hold my future, You know my past

Your thoughts toward me are always kind

You’ve saved me from so many trials

In nights and days, You’re always on my mind

There is a future in our God

Do not let Fear defeat your way

If we fear the Lord, He will rescue us

His salvation will arise, to help us in that Day

I Will Go

Scriptures: Jer.33:20, Isa.6:8, Jn.12:27-28

How rarely we thank You for Your covenant with the day

We barely consider Your faithfulness by night

The cycles of Your spheres across the universe

For the seasons of the stars, for the splendor of Your skies

Despite all this, You set Your heart upon the earth

Created in Your image, yet You knew we’d go astray

The serpent would deceive her, and Adam would betray

They hid their face from You and turned their heart away

With our nakedness exposed, we were hiding in our shame

And we lost our first authority, knowing we’re to blame

We now could not fulfill Your purpose for the earth

But in the Council of the Lord, a voice was heard

Who will go for Us, whom shall I send?

Who will break the curse that man has wrought on earth?

Who will run the race for God’s eternal plan?

To bring restoring grace unto the race of Man

Chorus:

And I said, “Here Am I, Hineni, I will go, My Father

I will leave the glory You have given Me

I will go lower, and touch the earth with love

Until the world requires of Me, My sacrifice of blood

And I will go lower than the stars I have made

I will go lower than the lofty clouds I gave

Lower than the storehouse of the snow

I will leave Your dwelling place, full of glory, love and praise

I will count the cost, for them, My Father, I will go

I will go in Adam’s place, I will stand where Adam fell

And for the souls of men, I’ll heed My Father’s cry

Who will go for Us, whom shall I send?

Who will break the curse that man has wrought on earth?

Who will run the race for God’s eternal plan?

To bring restoring grace unto the race of Man

When I come to walk upon the earth, I will gaze up to the stars

And I will remember why I must endure

For the souls of men so far outweigh their worth

You have given Me a bride, she’ll be taken from My side

And to ransom her I’ll taste the death and bear the scars

Live

Words and Music: Jill Shannon ©2019

Scriptures: Jer.29:11, Eze.16:4-8, Lu.10:30-37, Jn.10:10

You saved me for a reason, You kept me for a purpose

We are here and we remain by the kindness of Your heart

For I know the plans I have for you, to enlarge and bless and prosper you

I’m giving you a future and a hope

I watched you grow and nurtured you when your heart was torn and ravaged

For this world is lost and damaged, through the pain I carried you

When I saw your heart mature in love, I made a covenant in My own blood

I will take you as My own, My heart is true

For I have known you, and I formed you in the womb

When I saw you lying there, when no one else would care

When I saw you in your blood and knew that none would pity you

Then I spread My garment over you, I covered you with love, and I said, “Live!”

I predestined you for life, to be conformed

To the image of my Son, when you were born

And I said, “Live,” for a thousand years of restoration

Live, for the nurturing of generations, Live

For the purposes I knew, for the plans I made for you, before

You matured to be a bride for Me, a willing and obedient company

A people radiant in My image, born for such a time as this

They bring life and show My wonders, all the purposes I dreamed for them

They will rest under My shade, and know I live

For My Son has made a new and living way

You will stand before Me blameless in that Day

And I said, “Live,” for a thousand years of Kingdom living

Live, for His streams of mercy, always giving, Live

For the bride He calls His own, for the Lamb’s eternal throne, before

And I said, “Live,” for the promise of His great salvation

Live, for His priesthood birthed in every nation, Live

For the sacrifice He made, for eternal life He gave, before

On the Cross

Scriptures: Col.1:19-21, Heb.12:2, 9:11-12, Isa.49:16

There is a tree, planted by the river

There is a vine, rooted by Yeshua’s streams

There is a fountain, washing us in mercy

Flowing out from the Temple of the Lord

Oh, dry bones, why do you look so weary

Oh, dry bones, why do you hang your head

For your Husband, the Lord is your Creator

And He speaks life abundant from the dead

On the cross of condemnation, on the cross of perfect love

On the cross of restoration, I made a way for you to come

On the cross paid for salvation, the great exchange of blood for sin

On the cross, propitiation, You made a way to enter in

I look to You, Revealer of mysteries, I look to You, Preparer of our destinies

I look to you, Lord, Healer of our wounded heart

Oh my soul, look to Him and you will live

Leave your shame your pain, your blame behind you

Approach My throne with confidence in Me

On My cross of love, I carried these away from you

And through My blood I see you holy and clean

For My bride I paid her ransom, in My anguish she will find

Release from guilt and blessed acceptance, she was always on My mind

For My bride, I endured with patience, for My bride I scorned the shame

For her I bore humiliation, in My hands inscribed her name

Lord, You wanted me, when I felt unworthy

How could You endure such agony to rescue me?

You would have done this, if I had been the only one

For your own possession, You desired me

You saw me there, I was lying by the roadside

You wanted me, and chose me as Your own

Though there was nothing worthy I could offer You

You chose the Cross of shame above Your throne

Garden of the Lord

Heb.4:9, Matt.11:28-29, SOS4:12-5:1, Ja.1:6-8, Isa.4:2, Isa.35:1, Joel.2:22-23, Eph.5:30-32

When I rest with You, I soar above the troubles of my soul

When I lift my gaze, You restore and make me whole

When sorrow and anxiety defeat my strength and rob my peace

I will still my soul and lay my head on You

O My heart, open up to the garden of the Lord

Beloved, come in, to Your chamber

For the King delights in you, He is calling you by name

In the secret place He’ll find you there, He’ll give you rest

A heart divided cannot please, a double-minded man will not receive

My soul and spirit must agree on the counsel of Your heart

When I reach the end of every puzzle, anxious thought and painful struggle

In the end, it all comes back to trusting You

O the Branch of the Lord will be exalted in this hour

And the desert will bloom like the rose

Let the fig tree and the vine put forth their fruit together

When I saw you there, in the wilderness, I gave you rest

Being with You is the sweetest thing I know

I gain perspective, when I see things through Your eyes

My spirit rises up to the secret place

But my soul still wrestles with this life, for the strength to run my race

Every soul is song to Me, a kite in the windy sky

A high and soaring destiny, you are known before My eyes

As the rhythm of your ways I see, for each of you I dreamed a dream

I prepared your heart for something more than this

Bone of My bones, flesh of My flesh

Taken from My side, formed to be My bride

Bone of My bones, flesh of My flesh

Taken from My heart, she is now a part of Me

My heart has opened up its garden, I have welcomed You

My fruit is an orchard of Your promises fulfilled

Every soul is the garden of the Lord, He must enter in

Every heart is a tree of life to Him, He desires you

My heart has opened up its garden, we have welcomed You

My fruit is an orchard of Your promises, come true

He is everything to me, He is everything

He is everything you need, He is everything

In His Image

Scriptures: 1Pet.2: 9, 1Cor.15:20-26, 42-54, 2Cor.3:7-11, Isa.53:4-6, Gen.1:27

I want to be a priest to You, to cling to You in worship

I desire to be a friend to You, who tells You everything

I long to be a joy to You, a beloved one, who gladdens Your heart

Who gives You pleasure, let Your soul delight in me again

Would You trust me with Your thoughts and plans, Your hidden pearls of wisdom

Will You know I won’t betray You when the pressures grow too strong

Such a mystery that You trust in us, You’ve imbued us with the songs of Your heart

And You take pleasure when we sing them back to You again

From the Father’s throne, the worship of glory

From Heaven’s home, we are singing His praise

Yeshua shares His burdens and His story

Declare to the nations of His ways, our victorious King is coming to reign

Thank You for the Bread of Life that came down from Heaven

For cleansing in Your blood, for healing in Your wings

You took the curse upon Yourself, revealed the way to glory

A debt of love and gratitude we bring

Every wound and stripe would pay for us, to take our pain and sickness

You became the Captain of our faith, You brought many sons to glory

Adam was a living soul, but Yeshua is a life-giving Spirit

The second Adam, restoring us to the image of God

Not like men taken from the dust, the Seed of Yeshua

His offspring reborn in the image of God

As we were meant to be, from the beginning

He died for our glory, not His own

O worship the Lamb upon the Throne

As we behold Him, as in a mirror, gazing into His Holy Face

Ever changing from glory to glory, a new creation from Adam’s race

Make Your Glory Known

Words and Music: Jill Shannon ©2019

Scriptures: Jer.33:20, Matt.5:43-46, Ps.8:3-5, Isa.9:6, 40:3-5, Rom.8:18-23, Isa.42:14-16

Your covenant with night and day will not be broken

He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good

He sends His rain on the righteous and the cruel

And He shares His bread with the godly and the fool

Let us work now, while the grace of God continues, unbroken

For the night is far spent, we must prepare Him the way

He comes for those who aligned with His heart

They are looking for His Kingdom, they are set apart

Chorus

What is man that You are mindful of him

How can You bear so long with those who disrespect Your throne

What will it take to win devotion from their hearts

O let Your Kingdom come and make Your glory known

The currency of Heaven is devotion to Me

All that you have stored up in your heart

This has been reserved for you on that day

I will reward, I will restore, I will repay

The deceitful ones will be ashamed, their schemes will be confounded

The laws of nations overturned, the wicked rulers be astounded

Let His Kingdom be established in the earth

When the see the King, they will recognize His worth

Every broken place will be raised up, every mountain will crumble

Their riches cannot save them now, the hypocrites will stumble

I will hold back no longer, I will intervene

I will intercept and intercede and set you free

Chorus 2

The Son of David will return to Zion

The Kingdoms of this world will be the Kingdom of our Lord

All Creation groans until the Day when we can say

Of the increase of Your government, there’ll be no end

O let Your Kingdom come and make Your glory known

For too long I’ve kept silent, but no longer restrain

All that I have held back in My heart

Injustice cries out to Me from the earth

The Bride travails, the Lord prevails, His Kingdom birthed

The Kingdoms of this world will be the Kingdom of our Lord

And of His Messiah, He will reign in righteousness

And with justice for those who sowed in tears

For His priests and kings will reign with Him a thousand years

Jill’s Thanks:

After I had finished producing “Eternal Now,” in May, 2019, I didn’t expect any new songs, at least not till the end of the year. But my Father in Heaven had another surprise in store for me. Just a month after returning home from recording Eternal Now in the U.S., I was shocked to begin to receive new lyrics and poetry flowing into my heart and out into my journal, one summer morning, still in 2019. These quickly became this new collection of songs, that is now, “I Will Go.” I prepared the music for the remainder of 2019, expecting to record them in the spring of 2020, as has been my normal pattern. However, due to the COVID lockdowns in both my nations, the recording has been delayed till later this year.

Once again, I can scarcely believe all these words were given to me in such a few short days, and the music also came exceptionally fast. I thank the Lord in awe and gratitude, for entrusting me with these new and intense Kingdom messages.

My deepest thanks to Nancy DeWind, who has been preparing this work of art, even before I received my first revelations. She generously has come forward, yet again, to create the cover art for “I Will Go.”

To my family, close friends and intercessors, I thank you with all my heart, for believing in these offerings the Lord gives to me. And special thanks to my guest singer, my dear friend Slayder Betts: I am so thrilled that you joined me again, sharing your gifts and fellowship with me. We rejoice to bring this holy offering to the Lord. May this sweet-smelling aroma rise up before our Lord’s throne and bring Him joy and satisfaction, knowing that we the singers and all who will hear these songs – we all stand in agreement with His heart. Thank you for standing with me!

To all those precious ones who also stand with me in this ongoing work – whether we are close or distant, geographically – I could not do this work, year after year, and not succumb to the hardships, without your strong love, prayers, words of support and gifts of many types. You give me encouragement to continue. This is priceless, and I bless and humbly thank all of you.

To my Beloved Yeshua our Messiah: You are the flame of jealous love that lights my heart with revelation and fresh ways of expressing Your emotions and urgent desires. You paid the highest price and purchased us with LOVE. We will never run out of ways to thank you for Your sacrifice. We love You, Lord Yeshua!
