a) Approval of the resolution to suspend policy BD and thereby eliminate its application to the meeting at hand and amend policy BDDH and KD regarding Public participation (Pages )
It is recommended that the Board approve the provided Board resolution to the suspend Policy BD, and thereby eliminate its application to the meeting at hand. Also to Amend Policy BDDH and KD regarding Public participation.
b) Approval of Monthly Financial Statement and Monthly Investments (Pages )
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the financial statement and investments as listed in the attached documentation for the month of December, 2020.
c) Adoption of Fiscal Year 2022 Tax Budget (Pages )
It is recommended that the budget covering the period July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022 (Fiscal Year 2022) be adopted, and that the CFO/Treasurer be directed to submit copies as required to the Erie County Budget Commission.
d) Approval of the Request for Qualifications for Professional Design Services (Pages )
It is recommended that the Sandusky Board of Education approve the request for qualifications for professional design services as submitted.

It is recommended that the Sandusky Board of Education approve the following action items as delineated below. The recommendations presented to the Board of Education have been provided to the Board in advance of the Board meeting. Board members have had the opportunity to review available background information and request additional information to further prepare for action on recommendations presented in this section prior to the Board meeting.

3) Approval of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Sandusky Education Foundation and the Sandusky City Schools (Page )
It is recommended that the Sandusky Board of Education approve the Memorandum of Understanding between Sandusky Education Foundation and Sandusky City Schools in regards to a Community Accessibility Policy for the Sandusky Aquatic Center at the Sandusky High School as submitted and recommended by Stephen Sturgill, Ed.D., Chief of Staff and Transformation Officer.
4) Approval of College Credit Plus and MyUniversity MOU prepared by Lorain County Community College & University Partnership for the 2021-2022 school year RENEWAL (Pages )
It is recommended that the Sandusky Board of Education approve the Memorandum of Understanding with Lorain County Community College as submitted by Eric Talbot, SHS Principal, Richard Koonce, College and Career Readiness Coach, and recommended by Stephen Sturgill, Ed.D., Chief of Staff and Transformation Officer.
5) Approval of the Transportation Agreement between the City of Sandusky, and The Sandusky Transit System and Sandusky City Schools RENEWAL (Pages )
It is recommended that the Sandusky Board of Education approve the agreement between the City of Sandusky, Sandusky Transit System and Sandusky City Schools as submitted and recommended by Stephen Sturgill, Ed., Chief of Staff and Transformation Officer.
6) Approval of 2021-2022 SHS Course Selection Guide (Provided under separate cover)
It is recommended that the Sandusky Board of Education approve the SHS course selection guide, which includes the post-secondary options with our University partners: Bowling Green State University, Lorain Community College, Terra State Community College and Owens Community College, as submitted by Mr. Eric Talbot, SHS Principal and recommended by Vilicia Cade, Ed.D., Chief Academic Officer.

8) Approval of Sandusky City Schools Logo Patent Application and Payment of Filing Fees (Provided under separate cover)
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the request by the Sandusky Education Foundation and Mr. James W. Hart, to submit a Logo Patent Application to patent a standard Blue Streak Block letter “S” on behalf of the Sandusky City School District. There are no legal fees involved. The Policy Committee recommends the Board approve payment of the State filing fee of $125.00 and the Federal filing fee of $275.00.
9) Approval of Sandusky City School Student Activity Fundraisers
It is recommended that the Sandusky Board of Education approve the following list of fundraisers from IN-HOUSE clubs, as recommended by Jeff Hall, CFO/Treasurer, as submitted by Julie Bittinger, Business/Fiscal Office:
