December 9, 2019Dear Prospective SDSU Ambassador:Congratulations on taking the first step toward becoming an SDSU Ambassador! The SDSU Ambassadors are the official student representatives, tour guides and orientation leaders of San Diego State University. This professional, service-oriented team of volunteers represents the university at a number of on-campus events, including: New Student Orientation, New Student and Family Convocation, Welcome Week, Family Weekend, Explore SDSU, Commencement, Aztec Nights, Aztec Athletics games and much more! This application is the first step of the selection process. As you complete your application, let your personality and creativity be your guide. Use this as an opportunity to help the Selection Team learn more about you and what is important to you. A select number of applicants will be chosen to go through the interview process. By signing the application, you are granting the SDSU Ambassador Supervisors permission to post your name on the interview list. You are also granting permission allowing the supervisors to verify your academic and judicial records (including but not limited to your GPA). The interview list will be available in the Office of New Student and Parent Programs, located in Room 1602 of Student Services West, on February 28, 2020 after 10 a.m. Those granted an interview must attend a MANDATORY Interactive Session, during which you will meet and team-build with fellow interviewees. Interactive Sessions will be held on March 23 OR 24, 2020 from 5-7 p.m.Those granted a formal individual interview should go to the Office of New Student and Parent Programs to sign up for a specific interview time. Interviews will be conducted March 2 through March 20, 2020.
