Standard 1: Demonstrates competency in motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities. (Physical Skills)

Performs smooth and continuous locomotor skills:

1. ___ skipping, 2.___ gallop Right 3.___ gallop Left

4.___ hop Right 5.___ hop Left 6.___ leaping 7.___ jump (2 feet together)

8. ___ Dribbles a ball with dominate hand in a stationary position.

9. ___ Demonstrate kicking a rolled ball with proper form.

10. ___ Demonstrate a bounce pass to a partner.

11. ___ Keeps specific tempo while performing simple dance steps.

12. ___ Chest pass10 feet with proper form.

13. ___ Toss a small object (bean bag or ball) above eye level and catch it.

14. ___ Demonstrate balance on the right foot hands on hips for 10 seconds

15. ___ Demonstrate balance on the left foot hands on hips for 10 seconds

Standard 2: Demonstrates understanding of movement concepts, principles, strategies and tactics as they apply to the learning and performance of physical activities. (Knowledge)

16. ___ Name three items needed to perform an over-hand throw (turn/step/throw, T-X-throw).

Standard 3: Achieves and maintains a health-enhancing level of fitness (Personal Fitness).

17. ___ Run/Jog/Speed walk 1/2 mile.

18. ___ Maintain a flat back in push-up position.

19. ___ Demonstrate weight bearing on the hands, (e.g., plank, wall walk, crab walk, etc.)

Standard 4: Exhibits responsible personal and social behavior in physical activity settings. (Behavioral Skills)

20. ___ Cooperatively work at a station with a partner or small group.

21. ___ Manage conflict appropriately.

22. ___ Behave in a manner that does not distract others.

23. ___ Continue to try despite frustration.

Standard 5: Values physical activity for health, enjoyment, challenge, self-expression, and social interaction (Physical Activity- Recreation/Leisure)
