Where to find your Nevada Business ID

To be sure you provide the Board with your correct Nevada Business ID number, please follow these simple steps: Step 1 ? Identify your Entity Name (aka legal name) For Corporations, Limited Liability Companies and Partnerships: Your Entity Name is the Company Name you registered with the Nevada Secretary of State's office. For Sole Proprietorships: You Entity Name is your First and Last Name or First, Middle and Last Name, depending on how you registered with the Nevada Secretary of State's office. Do not use your fictitious name, if you have one. NV Business ID's are issued under your legal name only.

Step 2 - Go to the Nevada Secretary of State's website's search menu at In the Search by Entity Name field, type in your Entity Name in the search field and select "Search"

Your NV Business ID will be displayed in the search results. Step 3 - Enter the entire NV Business ID number including the letters NV in your online renewal.
