You have read a series of literary pieces that deal with concept of personal identity. The works you have read approach personal identity from different viewpoints-gender, ethnicity, social status, race, disability, personality. Now it’s time for you to put all these sources together. Formulate a thesis statement that makes some assertion about personal identity using three of the textual sources.

You will compose an 600-800 word essay arguing the assertion you have made about some aspect of personal identity. Your argument should be central, and your sources should support your argument. I want to hear your voice. This essay will be graded like the synthesis timed writing on the AP exam.
