5. Public inspection and review of auction items until 11:59 am.

6. The initial auction period starts at 12:00 noon.

7. All items sold will be on a percentage basis. The split is 70% to the seller and 30% to DSAS.

8. All donations will be accepted and all revenue gained by selling the donated items will become the 100% property of DSAS.

9. All items must have an item number and any item without an item number will be considered a donation and all proceeds of its sale will go to DSAS.

10. A limit of 75 auction items per person and/or household, however, no more than 8 bags of fish or plants of the same species or variety will be allowed per seller.

11. No government restricted fish or plants will be allowed under any circumstances.

12. Used equipment must be clean and in working order unless otherwise specifically indicated on the auction item by the seller.

13. All livestock must appear to be in healthy condition.

14. The auctioneer reserves the right to not auction any fish, plant or other merchandise that they deem to be in unsatisfactory condition.

15. DSAS will NOT be liable for any fish, plant or other item presented for auction but will exercise the greatest possible care to prevent damage, breakage or theft.

16. All buyers must pay cash to the auction runner who brings their item to them as soon as the item is awarded to the successful bidder.

17. All sellers will receive payment for their auctioned items within 2 weeks of the auction along with an itemized and detailed list of each of their items that were entered into the auction.

18. Any and all unsold auction items are the sole responsibility of the seller and must be removed from the premises at the conclusion of the auction OR upon the seller leaving the auction, whichever occurs first. Any unclaimed items will be assumed forfeited and disposed of by the auction room clean-up team. A $20 deposit fee will be assessed on EACH unsold aquarium tank or stand, regardless of size, left after the auction.

19. Immediate “push” of an item(s) to the auctioneer - $1.00 per item and must be paid to a “runner” prior to the item(s) being taken to the auctioneer.
