The depth of the pool at the starting end is 6 feet, depth at turn end is 3 ? feet. Seating is available in the pool viewing area, extra seating may be provided in one of gymnasiums. Fully automatic Daktronics timing with touchpads at both ends and eight lane readout will be used.The competition course has been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C (4).ELIGIBILITY:Individuals - Only current USA registered swimmers are eligible. Entries listed "Registration applied for" will not be accepted. Age for this meet shall be the swimmer's age as of November 17, 2019. INDIVIDUALS:Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.EVENTS:All events will be deck seeded timed finals. Submit swimmer's best times to ensure proper seeding. Each event will be swum in heats with swimmers seeded from the slowest to fastest. Swimmers reporting late will be scratched. The no show and scratch rule does not apply to this meet.POSITIVE CHECK-IN:There will be a positive check-in each day up to a deadline of 40 minutes before the published beginning time of each session on check-in sheets. Swimmers need to circle their names each session to report attendance at that session and cross out all events they wish to scratch in each session. Late check-ins will be able to swim only if there are open lanes available in the slowest heats.ENTRY LIMITATION:Swimmers are limited to four (4) individual events and two (2) relay events each day. Relay swimmers must be entered in at least one individual event. Deck entries will be accepted up until the end of positive check-in. If a swimmer submits an entry with more than four (4) individual events the entry chairperson will enter that swimmer in the first four events entered and disregard any other entries for that swimmer for that day.ENTRY FEES:$4.00 each individual entry - $8.00 each relay entry$2.00 Facility SurchargeEntry fees must accompany entries.A surcharge of $5.00 per swimmer has been instituted by ISI. All other personnel must be USA members to be allowed on the RMATION:Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms, or locker rooms.Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swim suits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is prohibited.Operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas and open ceiling locker rooms) any time athletes, coaches, officials, and/or spectators are present.WARM-UP PROCEDURESGeneral Warm-up (first 30-45 minutes)NO DIVING allowed from the blocks or edge of pool. Swimmers must enter the pool feet first, while maintaining contact with the deck with the body and a hand from the start end of the pool.No sprinting or pace work allowed during this general warm-up session.Entry into pool from starting end of pool only, unless noted otherwise by the meet director and meet referee.Specific Warm-up (last 30-45 minutes)Push/Pace Lanes - Push off one or two lengths from starting end. Circle swim only. NO DIVING.Diving Lanes - Sprint lanes for diving from blocks or for backstroke starts in specified lanes at designated times. (One length only)General Warm-up Lanes - NO DIVING. Circle swim only.At approximately half way through diving and push/pace, additional lanes may be opened at the request of the coach.POOLLANE USEPUSH/PACEDIVINGGENERAL WARM-UP6 LANE1&62&53,48 LANE1&82&73,4,5,610 LANE1&102&93,4,5,6,7,8SAFETY GUIDELINESCoaches ResponsibilitiesCoaches shall instruct their swimmers regarding safety guidelines and warm-up procedures as they apply to conduct at meets and practices.Coaches shall actively supervise their swimmers throughout the warm-up session at meets and all practices.Host Team ResponsibilitiesMarshalingA minimum of two (2) marshals, who report to and receive instructions from the Meet Referee, shall be on the deck during the warm-up session.Marshals shall be current members of USA Swimming.Marshals shall have the authority to remove from the deck, for the remainder of the warm-up session, any swimmer or coach who is in violation of safety or warm-up procedures.The host team shall provide signs for each lane at both ends of the pool, which indicate the designated use during warm-up.Warm-up times and lane assignments shall be published in the meet information and posted at several locations around the pool area. The following statement shall appear in the information: “Illinois Swimming, Inc. Safety Guidelines and Warm-up Procedures will be in affect at this meet.”An announcer shall be on duty for the entire Warm-up session to announce lane and/or time changes and to assist with the conduct of the Warm-up.Hazards in locker rooms, on the deck area or in areas used by coaches, swimmers, spectators, or officials shall be removed or clearly marked.Miscellaneous:Backstrokes shall ensure that they are not starting at the same time as a swimmer on the blocks.Swimmers shall not jump or dive into the pool to stop another swimmer on a recalled start.Swimmers are required to exit the pool upon completion of their warm-up to allow other swimmers adequate warm-up time. The pool is not for visiting or playing during the warm-up session.Warm-up procedures shall be enforced for any breaks scheduled during the competition.The Referee may restrict use of bands, hand paddles, or fins during warm-up. The Referee shall have control over mitigation actions necessary to relieve situations deemed as dangerous or impairing the safety of other swimmers.Sunday – A.M.
