Important Information to Know Before Returning

Mask Requirements

ALWAYS (Even if you have received both vaccines)

? Entering/exiting the building ? All common areas and locker rooms ? Strength and Functional Fitness studios ? While exercising on cardio equipment ? While exercising on Indoor Track and Basketball court ? Participating in Group Exercise Classes or Y programs

WHEN YOU CAN REMOVE:

? Swimming. Please wear your mask to and from your lap lane. ? Showers. Please wear your mask once you leave the shower.

Locker Rooms

? Masks are mandatory in all locker rooms. Masks can be removed while showering, and then put back on once dried off.

? Lap swim time slots are available for members 13 years and over at this time. ? Open for bathroom use, showering and/or changing. Members should spray their shower before

and after each use. If spray bottles need refilling please make the front desk or cleaning staff aware. ? While this is not a Covid-19 specific rule, please remember cell phone usage is not allowed in the locker room. ? Per State of CT reopening guidelines, saunas and steam rooms are not available at this time.

Pools

? Please wear your mask to and from the lap lane. ? Swimmers must preregister for a lap Lane or family/open swim on our website or by calling the

front desk at 203 775 4444 x0. ? Reservations for time slots will be available a week in advance, and will open at 8:00am on

Mondays for the following week. ? Members can register for 45-minute time slots for lap swim or family/Adult swim at YDAC or Indoor

pools. ? Members may reserve one lane per day for up to 45 minutes. ? Lap swimming is limited to one person per lane at this time. ? Kindly try to provide us with 24 hours' notice for pool cancellations, please call 203-775-4444 x0 or

email ahall-heron@ to cancel your pool reservation. ? A $5.00 no-show fee will be applied to your membership account if we are not notified about

cancelling a pool reservation. You will be sent a reminder on your first no-show. ? If you are running late please call the front desk at 203 775 4444 x0 or YDAC at 203 775 1077 to

notify staff so they do not release your reservation to someone else.

Fitness Rooms

? Masks are mandatory in all fitness rooms. ? All members are required to clean all equipment before and after use. ? Due to social distancing requirements some equipment has been moved to half of the gymnasium. ? Members must maintain a 6-foot distance from other members and staff where possible. ? Members must wipe down their equipment with spray provided before and after each use. ? Staff will be regularly disinfecting high touch areas in our facility. ? Please bring a water bottle from home, as water fountains will be available for bottle filling only at

this time.

Indoor Track

? Masks are mandatory on the Indoor track at this time. ? Track is open for walking and/or running. ? Infants in body carriers are allowed on track (no strollers, please)

Basketball Court

? Masks are required while playing basketball. ? We ask that you reserve a basketball time slot to guarantee you have a hoop when you come into

the facility.

? Please bring your own basketball, basketball pump is available if needed ? Basketball court is open to members only at this time.

What is currently not in use?

At this time, the following services are unavailable:

? Pickle ball and early morning volleyball are suspended at this time until social distancing requirements have been lifted.

? Kids' Corner (Babysitting) suspended at this time. ? No Guests or Nationwide Membership at this time. ? As per state of CT reopening guidelines, saunas and steam rooms are not available at this time.

What happens if I don't want to follow these safety protocols?

Members and participants who fail to comply with new policies and procedures are putting others at risk. They may be asked to immediately leave the facility. Refusal to comply with these protocols may result in membership and participation suspension and ultimately termination.
