Title Page, Table of Contents & Abstract: The title page will only use the format given to you and state your argument. The table of contents will direct the reader and the abstract gives a short summary of your paper’s research, findings, and recommendations.2. Introduction (2 pages): Make the case here for the significance of your topic. Why is your topic a priority for those invested in it? Why should it be a priority for those not invested in it? In addition, provide a summary of the specifics of your topic and how it has affected people’s lives. The end of your introduction should lead to your specific research question & thesis statement that has already been approved by Mr. Montgomery.3. Findings (minimum 3 chapters – each chapter is minimum 2-3 pages): The findings section uses specific examples, details, and analysis to prove or disprove your thesis statement (which is the answer to your research question.) Remember, you are not just summarizing facts connected to your topic, but analyzing them and connecting them to your thesis.Findings must also include charts & statistical information on separate pages with analysis of the figures (not included in your page count)4. Conclusion (2-3 pages): This section summarizes your findings and restates the significance of your topic. It also must include one or more recommendations/actions your reader can take to make a difference in the world concerning your topic. Good conclusions also delve into further questions you would like to explore about your topic, or other issues that connect to your topic.5. References: List of your sources.
