Prior to November 1, 2018, the fund had a different sub-adviser, a different investment objective and used different investment strategies. The performance set forth prior to that date is attributable to the previous sub-adviser.

Transamerica Money Market changed its name to Transamerica Government Money Market, and the fund now operates as a "government" money market fund under new federal regulations, which became effective on October 14, 2016. A "government" money market fund invests at least 99.5% of its total assets in U.S. government securities, cash, and/or repurchase agreements that are fully collateralized by U.S. government securities or cash.

You could lose money by investing in the Fund. Although the Fund seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1.00 per share, it cannot guarantee it will do so. The Fund may impose a fee upon sale of your shares or may temporarily suspend your ability to sell shares if the Fund's liquidity falls below required minimums because of market conditions or other factors. An investment in the Fund is not insured or guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other government agency. The Fund's sponsor has no legal obligation to provide financial support to the Fund, and you should not expect that the sponsor will provide financial support to the Fund at any time.

The gross expense ratios for this fund are 0.73%, 1.52%, and 0.58% for Class A, C, and I shares, respectively. The net expense ratios for this fund are 0.73%, 1.48%, and 0.48% for Class A, C, and I shares, respectively. Contractual arrangements (if applicable) have been made with the fund's investment manager, Transamerica Asset Management, Inc. (TAM), through March 1, 2019.

Shares may be sold (or "redeemed") on any day the New York Stock Exchange is open for business. Proceeds from the redemption of shares will usually be sent to the redeeming shareholder within three business days after receipt in good order of a request for redemption. However, Transamerica Funds has the right to take up to seven days to pay redemption proceeds, and may postpone payment under certain circumstances, as authorized by law.
