Parallels from the Prophet's Plight (Hosea 1:1-3)

Proposition: All through the book of Hosea, we will see these parallels between

the experience of his life and the revelation of God to His people. Here in these

instructions drawn from these few verses.

I. Learn from the Period of the Prophet's Ministry

B. A Period of Prosperity (Vs. 1)

C. A Period of Promiscuity (Vs. 1)

B. An Obeyed Pronouncement (Vs. 3a)

III. Look at the Picture of the Prophet's Marriage

A. A Picture of a Seeking Sovereign (Vs. 2c)
