For all years of my clinical service, I have surpassed the 75th percentile for my FTE and met or exceeded all expectations of clinical productivity for my division and department. I have also worked diligently from 2002 to the present to build psychology services over telemedicine in rural and urban areas. In collaboration with other psychologists, I have supported KUMC’s development as one of the most clinically active outpatient psychology over telemedicine programs in the country. I’m particularly proud of advocating for Kansas Medicaid funding for telemedicine services and being one of the first clinics to implement the Medicaid funding policy. As part of clinical services, I coordinate and supervise the clinical activities of psychology graduate students, pediatric residents, and other trainees. Professional Service: General Description: The telemedicine clinic uses televideo technology to deliver the same mental health evaluation and treatment services offered traditionally face-to-face to families across Kansas. I co-lead an interdisciplinary clinic for youth depression over telemedicine as well as see a range of mental health presentations over televideo from sites across the state. In addition to working with the child and parent/guardian, my clinical team works closely with school faculty and other community members to implement recommendations.
