Wayne, MI – This holiday season Wayne Main Street (WMS) is reminding shoppers to think small and shop local. The organization is spearheading downtown Wayne’s Small Business Saturday initiative, which will take place on Saturday, November 25th. The day will begin with a kick off event being held at Karma Coffee & Kitchen (35634 W. Michigan Avenue, Wayne, MI 48184) from 10AM-12PM. Participants will be able to pick up a free shop small tote and other Small Business Saturday swag. WMS will also be giving away gift cards to local businesses and other promotional materials. The event is free to attend and the first 100 people to RSVP will receive a free small coffee from Karma Coffee. Following the kick off event, participants are invited to visit the more than 20 participating stores in downtown Wayne. Designer Wearhouse, Leo’s Jewelry, Helium Studio, Northside Hardware, and Puffer Reds, and many others are among the Wayne businesses participating in this year’s event. Small Business Saturday complements some of the other shopping events that take place throughout the holiday season, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
