Read books, articles, and information connected with classroom management. Watch videos, converse with teachers and related professionals regarding developing my professional practice. Attend professional development courses and workshops offered by the school district or our local community college related to managing student behavior, classroom management, or similar topics. Consult with our School’s Instructional Coaches and attend workshops and meetings when possible with these individuals.Integrate Technology into Curriculum and LearningAttend Tech Workshops offered by the school district, watch online technology webinars and videos, read articles and journals connected with this aspect. As all the teachers in our district use Apple Computers and products, I will be specifically watching YouTube videos regarding how to use these items, especially as much of the school curriculum, grading, and communication platforms relate to this aspect. There are also workshops offered by our district specifically for teachers and staff related to accessing and using some of these products and platforms that I most definitely plan on attending.Reflective Teaching JournalKeep a “Teaching Journal” connected with important ideas, tips, and suggestions related to improving instruction, delivery, and various teaching aspects. I also plan on reviewing this journal bi-weekly, to make sure I’m consistently adding to it, as well as reviewing what techniques I tried that had been successful, as well as dropping others that were not.I plan on adding important documents, pictures of ideas, classrooms, and projects that I would like to try, as well as adding names and phone numbers of school contacts and staff who I might wish to consult with in the future. ................
