INCLUDED IN CENTRAL RENTALS (PN) LIMITED CHARGES:

← Supply of rental goods in good, clean, working order

← Delivery and installation of the goods within the Manawatu area (delivery fees $1 Kilometre are applicable outside Palmerston North city limits).

← Collection of the goods upon completion of the rental.

CUSTOMER SHALL COMPLY WITH CENTRAL RENTALS TERMS OF TRADE AS FOLLOWS:

← All Agreements are based on a 3 month period unless set up as short term. If terminated prior to 3 months, short term rental rates will apply. First month is a flat rate starting from $115 - $135 for the first item; all additional items from $75 - $95; then long term weekly rates apply. Any promotional discounts maybe converted back to standard rates. Customer has been advised & understands that short term rates will apply should the goods be collected within the 3 month period

← Pay the agreed rental within 7 days of the due date. If not paid within the 7 days of the due date, Central Rentals or its agent may uplift the goods at the customer’s expense without further notice.

← All changes such as address, work place, phone numbers, email address customer is to advise Central Rentals as soon as possible

← Customer signing this application is responsible for having the goods returned unless a name change for NEW customer has been completed prior to collection.

← Central Rentals will move goods FREE of charge within city limits – out of town fee will apply

← Under no circumstances is the customer to move the goods without contacting Central Rentals (PN) Limited prior to the move. Central Rentals must know at all times the location of its goods.

← Reimburse Central Rentals for the cost of repairs or for the replacement cost of the goods in the event of its theft, loss or damage in the case of not taking Central Rentals damage waiver or the customer having their own personal contents insurance.

← Ensure the good are not abused, are only used for the intended use and returned in clean condition.

← Contact Central Rentals upon completion of the rental period to arrange the return of the goods.

← To minimise the possibility of water damage Central Rentals advise that laundry conversion taps should be turned OFF when the machine is not in use.

← Contact Central Rentals upon completion of the rental period to arrange the return of the goods.

← On completion of the Rental Agreement it is the customer’s responsibility to cancel any automatic payments for rental. Any initial overpayments will be refunded but any additional refunds will carry a $10 administration charge.

← The goods remains irrevocably the property of Central Rentals and any failure to truthfully meet the terms of trade constitutes a breach of this Agreement. This Agreement permits Central Rentals or its debt collection agent to enter the premises in which the goods are located and uplift the goods at the customer’s expense without further notice.

DEFAULT CHARGES AND ADDITIONAL FEES

The following fees and charges may become payable:

← All written correspondence or invoicing due to arrears - $10 payment

← Texts or phone calls due to arrears - $3 payment

← Visiting the customers home due to arrears - $35 in Palmerston North city limits (outside Palmerston North limits further charges will apply)

← Repossession costs due to outstanding arrears or contract breaches will be $92 - $175 pending the number of appliances. Any outstanding amounts if not paid within 10 days will be handed onto a debt collection agency. The debt Collection Agency may charge a fee of up to 15% on all outstanding monies owing

← Additional $35 charge maybe incurred if the customer arranges a repair and or a pick-up time and fails to be there on our arrival.

WASHING MACHINE PUMP BLOCKAGES

Pump blockages are not generally the fault of the machine they are usually caused by objects being left in pockets/clothes of the items being washed. This is NOT covered by Central Rentals servicing contract. As a good will gesture, Central Rentals will cover the first block pump (not including travel) The customer will then be advised a fee of $45 for all subsequent pump blockages

FRIDGE/FREEZERS

In the case of one of Central Rentals fridge/freezers breaking down and the customer losing food, Central Rentals is NOT liable for the loss, but at its own discretion Central Rentals may contribute to the costs of replacement food

LOSS/DAMAGE WAIVER

← Central Rentals loss & damage waiver is an optional cover and covers only the goods owned by Central Rentals.

← The waiver cover is limited to loss or damage to the goods due to burglary, theft or unforeseen event causing loss or damage to the goods

← The is a standard $75 excess on all claims for which the customer is liable

← Central Rentals is not obliged to pay out any claims in the event of the premiums being in arrears

← In the event of a loss, Central Rentals is under NO obligation to renew the waiver, this is totally at the discretion of Central Rentals.

I hereby authorise Central Rentals to collect credit and personal information for the purpose of assessing if I am eligible to open a rental account in my name. Central Rentals may collect information about me from credit reporting agencies including Baycorp Advantage (NZ) Limited, they may also use the services of credit reporting agencies on an ongoing basis for purposes relating to the provision of addition credit or making contact when they are unable to make contact with me through the information I have supplied.

In the case of my details and contacts details change and I fail to advise Central Rentals I hereby authorise any person or body of persons listed below to disclose to Central Rentals, or any agent of Central Rentals, promptly on request the following personal information about me: 

 

a) My current address(s) and or current whereabouts

b) My current telephone number(s);

c) My other known name(s);

d) Any employment details.

 

The person or bodies of persons to whom this authority applies are:

 

1. (a) Ministry of Social Development (including Work and Income);

(b) Inland Revenue;

(c) Ministry of Justice;

(d) Department of Corrections;

(e) New Zealand Immigration Service;

(f) New Zealand Police; and/or

(g) Housing New Zealand Corporation;

 2. Any New Zealand telecommunication company or service including (but not limited to):

(a) Telecom Corporation of New Zealand Limited; and/or

(b) Vodafone New Zealand Limited.

 3. Any registered bank in New Zealand; and

 4. Any other credit provider or debt collector in New Zealand; and

 5. Any current or previous employer.

 

I understand that any such personal information collected and held may be used by Central Rentals for the purposes of operating, maintaining or taking lawful recovery action in respect of any rental equipment or money owed to Central Rentals.

 

I confirm that all information provided to Central Rentals is accurate, up to date, complete, relevant and not misleading, and authorise all of the matters described above. I further confirm I am not an undischarged bankrupt.
