Wireless Configuration Instructions for Windows 10

These instructions will configure your wireless connection to the RU-Secure wireless network.

NOTE: These instructions will assume you have the latest Windows updates and are using Windows to manage your wireless connection and not a 3rdparty vendor's program (Intel, Linksys etc.)

1. Click the wireless icon found in the bottom right of your screen.

2. Select the RU-Secure network and when prompted for credentials, please enter your my.ryerson username and password - please note that your student number is not a valid username to be used for the RU-Secure connection.

3. In the next screen, click Connect to confirm continue connecting to this network if you expect this network to appear in your location.

After a few seconds your device will be connected. Your credentials are now cached and you will automatically be authenticated when you are within the range of the wireless signal.
