|Position Summary |

|The Human Resources Manager for Corporate is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR |

|management in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in processes, improvements and procedures directly |

|related to the human resources function, and employment law compliance. |

|Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. |

|ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Listed in order of prevalence) |

|Works collaboratively to standardize and communicate employee life cycle procedures including recruiting, hiring, performance evaluation, disciplinary |

|procedures including termination and offboarding. All processes are to be performed to meet corporate and government regulatory requirements. |

|Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and |

|procedures manual. |

|Trains and communicates policies and procedures and procures buy in from supervisors. |

|Assists in developing HR Departmental goals, objectives and systems. |

|Is subject matter expert on Brentwood’s Health Insurance portfolio including medical, prescription drug, dental and vision. |

|Administers and maintains FMLA, STD and LTD processes for all employees |

|Works with EAP and Wellness coordinators to implement programs at all locations |

|Works collaboratively with Corporate Human Resources Director in standardizing policies and procedures at all locations. |

|Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources ( e.i., EEO, ERISA, FLSA,, etc.). Directs the preparation|

|of information required or requested for compliance. |

|Works collaboratively with HR Managers on standards for recruiting and placement practices and procedures for employee groups including advertising, |

|orientation and interviewing. |

|Assists in evaluation of reports, decision and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and |

|procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed. |

|Surveys wage and salary structures, pay policies and performance appraisal programs. |

|Determines and recommends employee relation practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship. Serve as a resource in the |

|mediation of employee problems and assume responsibility for implementation of grievance or dismissal procedures. |

|Establish and conduct in-house training programs that address employment needs across company. |

|Actively participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars to stay current on Human Resources initiatives. |

|QUALIFICATIONS |

|The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. |

|EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources Management or related field is desired and/or a minimum of 10 |

|years’ experience in Human Resources. Minimum of two years of management experience. |

|CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, OTHER: Additional PHR/SPHR certification helpful. |

|LANGUAGE SKILLS: Well developed interpersonal skills combined with knowledge of all applicable local, state and federal regulations and laws. |

|Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be comfortable presenting information to a large group of employees and respond to |

|questions. |

|MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: The ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate the average of numbers to the third decimal place. |

|REASONING ABILITY: Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. |

|OTHER: Computer skills should include excel, word, internet and experience with a payroll system. |

|SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES |

|Works collaboratively with Corporate Human Resources Director to oversee projects to timely completion. May at times, supervisor members of Human |

|Resources team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include|

|interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; |

|addressing complaints and resolving problems. |
