Student Quick Guide: Create Email SignatureSometimes it is helpful to have a signature appear automatically at the end of emails. It is also a good professional practice. Creating a signature is easy, and saves you a little time when writing your email – you don’t have to sign your name, or include other important information, because your saved signature will do that for you. Click on the Envelope icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen in D2L. From there you can select Instant Messages or Email; in this tutorial, we will select Email.In your Email, look to the right and find a cog wheel and the word Settings. Click on Settings. There are lots of Email Options you can change; in this tutorial we focus on the Email Signature line. See the large text box under the heading Email Signature. Type your preferred signature line in this space. When complete, click Save. Now whenever you send an email, it will automatically end the email with your Email Signature content. ................
