Simple Guidance and Area Measurement

The newest addition to the award winning BlackBox guidance range is the BlackBox Air. An Android based solution for simple guidance, area measurement and field recognition with upgrade options for recording, synchronisation of data and vehicle tracking.

The BlackBox Air is supplied with a Bluetooth 10hz GPS receiver with WAAS, EGNOS and GLONASS as standard. With built in terrain compensation, the BlackBox Air provides an accurate location for all field operations.

The BlackBox Air is able to provide straight and curved guidance modes which is perfect for most guidance needs. The upgrade to the Air+ adds Headland Guidance and Headland Warning to the list of guidance options available.

Upgrading to the BlackBox Air+ opens up the world of wireless data transfer. Data can be transferred via the Patchwork Cloud services from the field to the office for viewing and printing.

Both field boundaries and job records can be easily transferred to comply with your regulative requirements.

With the ability to connect directly to the internet via either 3g (depending on your device) or WIFI, the BlackBox Air+ is able to utilise the fastest connection available for data transfer.

If you are looking for a guidance system that will operate in all weather conditions, the Eco+ may be the product for you.

The Eco+ is a waterproof and dust proof guidance system which allows farmers and contractors to perform multiple operations, and is especially suitable for spreading fertiliser, slurry, spraying chemicals, slug pelleting and soil work.

With built in 10hz GPS receiver with WAAS, EGNOS and GLONASS, the Eco+ provides a high quality signal for all guidance operations. With built in Terrain Compensation the Eco+ will correct your position on any slope and undulating land to improve guidance accuracy.

Sync Data with

The data from the Eco+ can be easily transferred to the office via a removable SD card. The data can be synchronised with the Patchwork Cloud services via the BlackBox Core PC software. Once the data has been transferred, the field boundaries can be viewed and printed. Also the Farm and Field database can also be updated. See page 16 for more details on the BlackBox Core.

The BlackBox Scout is a waterproof, automatic recording device for farmers and contractors.

Ideal for harsh environments where recording is required without the need for operator interaction.

The Scout unit includes a 10hz GPS receiver with WAAS, EGNOS and GLONASS combined with a 3G modem and various sensors. This allows the Scout to automatically record work done, using field recognition to sense which field the vehicle is operating in.

The switch input sensors will detect whether the implement is working or not and other sensor readings can also be added to the job recording e.g. application rate.

The BlackBox Marine is our most cost effective control system, which can expand with your ever changing business needs. Customise your BlackBox by only paying for the options you need, protecting your investment into the future.

The BlackBox Marine offers Guidance and Recording with upgrade options for Product Control, Section Control and VRT.

A version is available for Product Control only, providing a simple product controller without the Guidance features.

The BlackBox Marine is supplied in a waterproof enclosure combined with a state of the art Android App on either a 7" display or an 8" waterproof display.

The Marine can easily be expanded via the internal CAN bus, to connect to either our Single Product Control Node for application control and section control, or to our Switch Box for manual switch control.

The Marine has two GPS options, one is our standard R1 receiver with WAAS, EGNOS and GLONASS or an upgrade to our R2 GLIDE receiver for areas with poor differential coverage.

Automated Recording and Product Control

The BlackBox Stealth is our most flexible product with many variations possible. Designed to work either autonomously or alongside an Android based tablet to provide Guidance and Product Control for farmers and contractors.

Working in Autonomous mode, the Stealth is capable of working without a display, providing recording and control without operator input. This is achieved using the internal 3g modem option and BlackBox Core PC software.

The BlackBox Stealth offers Guidance and Recording with upgrade options for Product Control, Section Control and VRT.

A version is available for Product Control only, providing a simple product controller without the Guidance features.

The BlackBox Stealth is supplied in a waterproof enclosure combined with a state of the art Android App on either a 7" display or an 8" waterproof display.

Single Product Control Node

Using the BlackBox CAN interface on either the BlackBox Marine or BlackBox Stealth, the Single Product Control Node adds more connectivity for product control.

Up to 10 boom sections can be controlled automatically via Section Control.

With the BlackBox Stealth a maximum of 8 nodes can be connected providing a limit of up to 80 boom sections per Stealth installation.

With each Control Node, a single product applicator can be controlled via motor control or PWM hydraulic control.

Switch Box

Both the BlackBox Marine and the BlackBox Stealth have direct switch inputs for master switch and boom switch controls.

For users who require a separate switch box, the Patchwork Switch Box provides up to 10 individual boom switch control with 3 position switches, allowing for section to be switched OFF, ON or switched to Automatic Section Control. With a power switch and master switch the Switch Box provides maximum control to the operator.

With the BlackBox Stealth multiple Switch Boxes can be connected to provide manual control for up to 80 boom sections.

The power switch can be wired to power up/down all of the BlackBox devices.
