Precalculus Formula Review Project Name ___________________________

The objective of this project will be for the student to collect specified information and organize it in a meaningful way.

Specifics:

Graphic Organizer should fit on an 8 ½ X 11 sheet of paper (use both sides). This sheet should be in a 3-hole clear sheet protector, or laminated. You may use a graphic organizer of your choice. Graphic Organizer is due on .

Extra points will be given for early turn in as follows:

1 day early (not your class day) …… + 5 points

Late Projects will be graded as follows:

1 day late -20 points

2 days late (next class) -40 points

3 days late -60 points

4 days late (2 classes later) -80 points

If you are absent on a due date for any reason, have someone bring it up to school for you. It will be graded according to the day it is received by your teacher, regardless of circumstances.

___ Inverse Trig Functions (Graphs and Domain and Range for sin, cos and tan)

___ Law of Cosines & Law of Sines (how you know when to use which)

___ Laws of Exponents (include how they are related to logs)

___ Log Form to Exponential Form (and vice versa)

___ Properties of Logs

___ Pythagorean Relationships (3 for trig functions)

___ Quotient Identities

___ Reciprocal Identities

___ Right triangle trig (soh cah toa) (how to find sides and angles)

___ Sum and difference formulas for sin, cos and tan

___ Unit Circle (degrees, radians and coordinates)

Rubric:

4 points for each of the 22 items listed above 88 points

12 points for neatness, legibility, sheet protector/laminated, this sheet 12 points

100 points
