GOD WANTS TO BLESS YOU!

In just about every Christian denomination today - there are questions, discussions,

dissertations, sermons, and Bible studies, about what blessings (if any) are available to Christians today.

• Is Healing Still Available Today?

• Is Deliverance Still Available Today?

• Is Supernatural Provision Available Today?

• Are the Gifts of the Spirit Still Available Today?

Unfortunately, in many cases the subject has often resulted in arguments, debates,

dissentions and schisms. And, while nobody questions one's love or devotion to God: The Bible states clearly that the gifts (that would be the blessings) of God are without repentance (God doesn't revoke them) - and the ALL OF THE PROMISES of God are YES! [Rom. 11:29 • 2 Cor. 1:20]

If one were to actually take the Word of God, and believe it according to what it says - One can reach no other conclusion other than the fact that EVERY promise of God spoken regarding the New Testament church is still available - is still in effect - has not been revoked or cancelled - and can still be accessed by EVERY born-again child of God: TODAY!

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

The reason why understanding this is important - is because if we do NOT know and understand this to be true: then even though all of the promises of God regarding supernatural healing / supernatural deliverance / supernatural provision and increase / supernatural manifestation of the gifts of the spirit / or any other promise will FAIL to manifest or be fulfilled in our life.

LACK OF KNOWLEDGE PREVENTS BLESSING:

Consider these three scriptures and their implication on our life:

"Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, [3] According as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: [4] Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you will become partakers of the divine nature..." [2Pet 1:2-4]

"My people are destroyed because they lack knowledge - and because they have rejected knowledge..." [Hosea 4:6]

"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God." [Rom 5:1-2]

Question: What does the Bible say about HOW we access the blessing of God?

Answer: According to these scriptures, there are three requirements necessary for the child of God to access ALL the blessings that God has made available to us:

1. KNOW THE PROMISES: 2 Peter 1:2-4 tells us that God has given us EVERYTHING we need to live a victorious, prosperous, healthy life - and it is through the KNOWLEDGE of GOD and HIS PROMISES that we understand what is ours - and what he has given us.

2. BELIEVE THE PROMISES: It is only when we KNOW the promises of God - and understand that ALL of them are still in effect for US TODAY that we can believe them. Hosea 4:6 states clearly that if we do not have knowledge of the these things - or worse - refuse to believe the promises (reject them) - then the result is that we will NOT access the blessings and the results can be catastrophic to us.

3. ACCESS THE BLESSINGS BY FAITH: Here is a simple question - yet it is one of the most misunderstood principles of the Christian life: When were you saved - Before you believe the promise of salvation thru Christ - or after you believed?

If you answered correctly - then your answer was after you believed! That's right: You accessed the promised blessing of salvation only after you believed the promise - and exercised your faith to receive it.

Now, here is the kicker! The salvation was available to you the whole time! It was right there waiting for you to access it since the day you were born! But, you didn't access it (receive or activate the promises) until YOU believed the promise - and then exercised your faith to receive it. And when you did that - the promise manifested and you were born-again!

ACCESSING ALL THE OTHER PROMISES:

The same way that we received the promise of salvation - is the same way that we receive all the OTHER promises: By FAITH!

The promises are made available to us by the grace of God - but they can only be accessed by us (received) - when we KNOW the promise - BELIEVE that it is for US - and then RECEIVE it (access it) by Faith. This is what Rom. 5:2 means when it states: "...we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand".

ALL OF THE PROMISES ARE YES!

"For all the promises of God in him are yes, and in him Amen..." [2Co 1:20 ]

Notice that the SCRIPTURES state that ALL of the Promises are Yes.

• It does NOT say: "All of the promises are maybe"

• It does NOT say: "All of the promises are for some - but not for others"

• It does NOT say: "Some of the promises are yes"

• It does NOT say: "A few of the promises are yes - but the rest only God knows!"

• It does NOT say: "Some of the promises are yes - except for you!"

• It does NOT say: "As far as the promises go - you never know what God is going to do?"

No! God has said: "ALL OF THE PROMISES ARE YES! - AND AMEN in Him!"

BELIEVE THE WORD OF GOD: RECEIVE THE PROMISED BLESSING:

No matter what traditional teaching has said. no matter what others have told you or taught you, no matter how confused you may have been in the past, no matter what others may say - believe - or teach: If you will LEARN God has promised in His word - BELIEVE that the promised blessing ARE for YOU - and RECEIVE the promised blessing by faith - then you WILL begin to see them manifest in your life!
