A: New Student Online Registration is for ANY student who WAS NOT enrolled in CHISD on the last day of the 2014-2015 school year. Q: I have a current 4th grader and need to enroll my new KG into CHISD, how do I do this? A: If you have a current (or former) CHISD student, you can log into your Family Access account and click on the New Student Online Registration to complete the enrollment application for your new student. Q: I have NEVER had any student in CHISD, how do I enroll my student?A: You will need to get an account in order to log in to submit the enrollment application for your student. Click on the link below to request an account. Q: I requested an account but never received an email with my username/password. A: You should receive an email from Skyward Server, please make sure to check your Junk and/or Spam folder for this email. It can take up to 24 hours for some emails accounts to receive this email. If you still do not receive it please email familyaccess@ for assistance. Q: I need to register more than one student, how can I do this?A: Once you complete the steps for one student and submit the application you will be able to register additional students using your same username/password. From your summary page you will see a button – Click to Enroll Additional Students. Q: Is an email address required to complete Online Registration?A: Yes, you must have an email address to receive your username/password. If you need assistance setting up an email address please contact familyaccess@ or your student’s home campus. Q: Do I have to complete online registration for every child in my household, or only one?A: This process must be completed for every new CHISD student that will be in grades K-12 who will be enrolled for the 2015-2016 school year. Q: We live outside the district; can I still do the online registration to enroll my student? A: Students who live outside the district can submit an enrollment application to be reviewed by the campus. The only campuses that are open to out of district students are: Bray Elementary, Highlands Elementary, Lake Ridge Elementary, Permenter Middle School, Ninth Grade Center and Cedar Hill High School. Once you have completed online registration you must take the Out of District transfer from found on and your student’s academic records (along with all other required documents) to the campus. The campus principal will review the student’s information and make a determination if space is available for your student. Q: I would like to enroll my student into PK, are there any additional steps I need to do?A: Student must qualify into PK and qualification is determined at the campus once the enrollment application is complete. Additional information regarding PK qualification requirements can be found at . Q: Do both parents/guardians have to login and complete this, or only one?A: This need to be filled out one time by one of the primary guardians that is connected to a student. Secondary families will not be allowed to complete online registration for the student. Q: I’ve completed every step but the campus is telling me they can’t see my application. What else do I need to do?A: Once you have gone through each step and marked them complete, you will need to click the Submit Application to District. A confirmation box up message appear and you must again click on the Submit Application. If either of these steps are skipped you will need to log back into your account and click on it again to ensure the campus receives it. Q: How can I verify that I have completed the process?A: You will see a final box that gives you information how the required documents that must be submitted. ................
