TUESDAY, JUNE 25

12:00 Arriving in Tegucigalpa International Airport

1:00 Leaving to Valle de Angeles

3 – 5 Visiting Valle de Angeles and San Juancito (Historical and mining small towns to see rural areas in Honduras)

5:00 Leaving Valle de Angeles to Tegucigalpa

6:00 Dinner at a typical restaurant in The Morazan Boulevard

8:00 Leaving to Zamorano

9:00 Check in the Kellogg Training Center

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26

7:00 Breakfast and receiving information about Honduras and Zamorano

9:00 General tour around Zamorano

11:30 Lunch with Dr. Contreras (Executive Director), Dr. K. Andrews (General Director), Dr. Antonio Flores (Academic Dean) and Ivan Restrepo (General Coordinator of the Entrepreneurs)

1:30 Leaving Zamorano to visit Jicarito, San Antonio de Oriente and Yuscaran (Historical and mining towns)

6:30 Arriving to Zamorano

7:00 Dinner with Faculty and entrepreneur coordinator of the Natural Resources and Agricultural Development Area (number of faculties will depend on number of participants)

THURSDAY, JUNE 27

6:30 Leaving to San Francisco’s rural school

8:00 Leaving to San Francisco woman’s rural development projects

10:00 Leaving to Guinope to visit one rural school and the orange wine processing plant

12:30 Lunch in Guinope (if we could fine a safe place to have lunch we can eat there or we take sandwich from the Zamorano dinning room)

1:30 Leaving to visit the rural development projects and another rural school in the area

5:30 Leaving to Zamorano

6:30 Dinner with Faculty and entrepreneur coordinator of the Animal and Crop Science Area

FRIDAY, JUNE 28

5 – 6 Breakfast

6:00 Leaving to the southern part of Honduras

9:30 Arriving in the Shrimp Production Company

11:00 Break (with snacks and beverages)

12:00 Leaving to Choluteca

1:00 Lunch at Choluteca (Specialty Sea Food)

2:30 Leaving to a Melon Processing Plant

5:30 Leaving to Tegucigalpa

8:00 Arriving in Tegucigalpa and Dinner at a Typical Restaurant (we can choose among several good restaurants in Tegucigalpa)

9:30 Leaving to Zamorano

SATURDAY, JUNE 29

6:00 Breakfast and get ready to leave Zamorano definitely

7:00 Leaving to Uyuca National Reserve, hiking to the top of the mountain

12:30 Lunch at Tegucigalpa (I would like to eat in a Fast Food restaurant to remind them US and also because I would no like to spend too much time)

1:30 Leaving to Siguatepeque and visiting The National Forestry School (ESNASIFOR)

4:00 Leaving to San Pedro Sula

6:00 Arriving in San Pedro Sula and check in The Almendral Hotel (Colonia Trejo)

7:00 Dinner with Staff of The Chiquita Inc. at a Typical Restaurant

SUNDAY, JUNE 30

7:00 Check out and leaving to the Banana Plantations (in the way there, we can find a fast food restaurant to have breakfast)

11:30 Leaving the banana plantation and having lunch with staff of ALCON (Cargill, Honduras)

2:00 Visiting the ALCON Feed Balance Processing Plant

4:30 Leaving to Copan Ruins

7:00 Arriving and check in at El Jaral Hotel

7:30 Leaving to Copan Ruins town and having dinner

(If we want more time in Copan probably we can leave San Pedro after visiting the banana plantation and have part of the afternoon free to see the town around)

MONDAY, JULY 1

6:00 Leaving to the Copan Ruins town to have breakfast with the bilingual guide

7:30 Leaving to the Copan Ruins

1:00 Lunch at the Copan Ruins (Prepare sandwiches for saving time)

2:30 Afternoon free (or either to explore more about the Ruins or to see the town around)

7:00 Dinner at El Jaral Hotel

TUESDAY, JULY 2

10:00 Arrive San Pedro Sula Airport

12:05 Leave San Pedro Sula Airport

9:04 Arrive at Indianapolis Airport
