Pattern:

Line 1: Noun or subject

Line 2: Two Adjectives describing the first noun/subject

Line 3: Three -ing words describing the first noun/subject

Line 4: Four words: two about the first noun/subject, two about the antonym/synonym

Line 5: Three -ing words about the antonym/synonym

Line 6: Two adjectives describing the antonym/synonym

9) Terza rima

12) “A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words” Poem

A picture is worth a thousand words! Choose one of the photographs shown in class. Write a poem based on the images seen in the photo. It must be a minimum of two stanzas with four lines in each stanza. Remember to use descriptive language. Every noun must have at least one adjective.

This poem will hopefully allow you to see yourself in a different light (as a poet and as a wonderful human being). Have fun, be creative, and use appropriate items. The evaluation will be based on creativity and completed responses.
