General Summary of Function/Purpose of PositionThis position will directly assist the Communications Office in carrying out a wide range of professional writing, design, editing and strategizing for marketing purposes. Responsibilities include supporting the creation and execution of paid, earned, digital and social media campaigns. This will involve working with the department advertising agency, website development, social media planning, measurement of marketing analytics, and more.15. Assist in developing strategic advertising and marketing plans for the department that integrate advertising, direct mail, digital communications, and more.? Follow-up with programs as necessary.? Utilize social media to distribute messages and reach communication goals of programs.? Obtain appropriate approvals prior to implementation of campaigns to projects and assist with the implementation process.? Ensure that MDHHS website supports marketing initiatives.? Integrate overall marketing efforts with the department’s GovDelivery digital communication account.Duty 2General Summary:Percentage:25Assist in executing and evaluating the department’s outreach to inform the public and other targeted audiencesabout the department’s programs and initiatives.Individual tasks related to the duty:? Assist in the development and review of monthly advertising, social, and website reports for accuracy and conduct comparison evaluation with media planning activities.? Develop monthly, quarterly and annual reports as necessary, and analyze results to make changes to marketing efforts and ensure campaign efficacy.? Respond to constituent inquiries on social media and electronically to ensure a timely and accurate response.?
