DAY 3
Superpower: Giving
Superhero: Boy Who Gave It All
Boy shares his food and Jesus feeds thousands of people! John 6:9
OPTION 1: COLOR ME FISH
CRAFT KIT NEEDS TO BE ORDERED
Permanent Markers or Paints
Use permanent markers or paints to decorate these adorable stuffed fish. Help kids remember to use their Superpower of Giving! They can have their friends autograph their fish to remember this VBS.
Also, have written on the board, or paper that all kids can see, the words...Be Giving! Or Superpower: Giving. Could also put Bible reference (John 6:9).
OPTION 2: HERO GROCERY BAG
Supplies: Paper Grocery Bags (2-3 per child if possible) Markers/Crayons Permission from local grocery store to bring in bags
We are learning how we can use the Super powers God gives us this week to be Heroes for Him! Today we will decorate grocery bags that can be put out at grocery stores, as well as our own homes, to fill with food to donate for a local food pantry/distribution. OR a grocery store may just let you give them the decorated bags to use for their customers paid groceries. If you don't have a local food shelf, then ask the people in your congregation to all take a bag, fill it and then have a food distribution day at YOUR CHURCH that is open for the community to come in and pick up a free bag of groceries! A great community outreach opportunity for your church to use their superpower of being GIVING!

If there is a child that didn't get their picture taken and printed, suggest to them to take it home and put a picture of themselves in the frame.
Use foam letters and shapes, and/or stickers, to decorate. Spell out "Step out in Faith" or "Be a Hero"...or be creative!
