Allen, Juana Diaz, Puerto RicoUtility costs on the island of Puerto Rico are significantly higher than those in the continental United States. Because of this the government understands the need for energy cost savings and has implemented solar energy projects at Ft. Allen. Hannah Solar Government Services was hired by Johnson Controls under its Energy Savings and Performance Contract (ESPC) with the Puerto Rican Army National Guard to provide a total of 1.2 MW of solar for energy cost savings to the government. 22860109220This project consists of a 936.88 kW ground mounted solar PV system and a 312kW solar PV parking canopy. The ground mounted system features Suniva 325W modules connected to a Solectria 500 kW inverter and is supported by a RBI Solar ground mounted system. The parking canopy uses Suniva 325W modules, a Solectria 250kW inverter, and is mounted to Schletter rails affixed to a Steel and Pipes structure. Hannah Solar Government Services designed, engineered, and built both systems for the Puerto Rican Army National Guard.PAST PERFORMANCEINTEL-ANGLICO Complex, Camp Lejeune, NC20929605715000The Department of the Navy and the Marine Corps is committed to reducing their reliance on foreign oil by using energy produced from alternative sources. Solar photovoltaic systems have become a popular alternative energy source on government bases across the nation and in overseas territories. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune has adopted this type of renewable energy generation system with the installation of a parking canopy mounted to the top of 2d ANGLICO and 2d INTEL Battalions Parking Garage. 1206545974000Hannah Solar Government Services provided the design, engineering, and installation of the 742 kW (DC) solar parking canopy at Camp Lejeune, NC. This system includes Solaire Generation Long Span R5 racking system on a steel canopy structure. The system utilizes an AE 500 kW inverter and an AE 35 kW inverter, as well as 1SolTech 265 Watt polycrystalline solar modules. This renewable energy system will generate approximately 891,700 kilowatt hours of energy annually for Camp Lejeune. PAST PERFORMANCEAir Traffic Control Tower, Tucson International Airport, AZ27565351778000022860272161000The Federal Aviation Administration, along with other governmental departments, have started a campaign to reduce our reliance on foreign oil, greenhouse gas emissions, and operating costs. This has caused a push towards alternative renewable energy sources, like solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The FAA is highly regulated, and installation of a solar PV system at an airport requires significant planning, and a comprehensive glare analysis. This specific ground mounted solar PV system was installed to completely power the Air Traffic Control Tower at Tucson International Airport in Arizona. Due to the systems close proximity to the flight line special considerations and security measures were taken in the design and construction phase of the project. This 502.3kW ground mounted solar PV system was installed by Hannah Solar Government Services consists of SunPower 327W modules connected to a Solectria 500kW central inverter. The array is mounted to a RBI Solar racking system. PAST PERFORMANCE27736805461000Target Corporation, South Carolina35560213233000Hannah Solar Government Services has partnered with the Target Corporation to install 3 MW worth of solar power on 7 stores across the state of South Carolina. Target has pledged to increase the number of stores with roof top solar arrays to 500 by the year 2020. The stores that currently have roof top solar systems are able to offset approximately 30 percent of their energy needs. By generating their own power, Target stores are helping to lessen the burden of local utilities. These solar PV systems will be constructed at sites in Aiken, Charleston, North Charleston, 2 stores in Columbia, Lexington, and Summerville. Included in these project is the largest roof ballasted solar PV system currently in the state of South Carolina, 516.5kW in Lexington. 269748023050500These systems are being constructed by Hannah Solar Government Services using a variety of materials. The modules are being supplied by Jinko Solar, JA Solar, and Phono Solar. Solectria Renewables will be providing the string inverters, and Panel Claw and Ecofoot 2 from Equilibrium will be supplying the ballasted racking systems. ATTACHMENT 1Product and Services DescriptionBase SystemA turnkey, grid-connected solar electric (photovoltaic) system service installation. This system includes the following:Design and Engineering: In house Professional Engineers (PE) will design the solar PV system to specifications and provide PE stamped drawings.Bonding: Bonding is provided as required by the customer to insure completion of the contracted work. NOTE: Bonding is charged two different ways: either as a separate item, or grouped in with Services depending on the customer’s requirements.Solar Panels: The solar panels (or modules) are the most important part of the solar PV system and receive their own line item.Inverters and Electrical Materials: Inverters are the second most important part of the solar PV system as they invert DC power into AC power. This category also includes all wiring, conduit, disconnects, and meter for a complete electrical system from the solar modules, through the inverter to a meter and the main service panel of the facility.Racking System: The racking system is structural support system for the modules and mounts them to a roof, the ground, a parking canopy, or other structures. Racking systems differ between types. This category includes the racking structure material biner Boxes: Modules are wired in series to create “strings.” This strings must be combined in combiner boxes before being connected to the inverter(s). Combiner boxes are not necessary if smaller string inverters are used where strings can be connected directly into the inverters. Installation: Installation covers all ancillary services required to provide a full turn-key solar PV system to include labor, project management, quality control, permitting, utility interconnection, rental equipment, and testing and commissioning costs. Installation differs between system types mainly because of the different racking system. For a ground mounted racking system, this includes up to 100 feet of trenching for underground wire. Includes Davis-Bacon labor, Master Electricians and General Laborers. Master Electricians are responsible for overseeing all the electrical work, including installation of combiner boxes and inverters. While General Laborers are responsible for the assembly of the racking system and mounting the solar panels.Travel: Travel covers the cost of mobilizing labor and resources for the full turn-key services of the solar PV system. This cost is applied according to the location of the project.Closeout Documents: At the conclusion of the project, HSGS provides operations and maintenance manuals, warranties, and as-built drawings to close out the project.ATTACHMENT 2GSA Price List ................
