David O'DONOVAN

I was born and have lived my entire life in Port Adelaide. As a past player and current financial member I am as proud of and as passionate about the Club today as I have ever been. As a young player growing up at the Club during the 80s I experienced and enjoyed more than my fair share of success and Premierships, along with the honour of representing Port Adelaide in two Teal Cup U17 State teams. And as proud as I am today of these achievements, I place greater value on the many qualities that were instilled in me by the Club, such as discipline, commitment and persistence, honesty, loyalty, leadership and teamwork. These priceless experiences and life lessons have helped to shape the person that I am today, and without doubt are the basis of my 32 years of professional service to our community as a member of South Australia Police. In recent years, I have returned to serve the club as a voluntary member of the Integrity Committee, where it has been my pleasure and honour to give something back to the Club, and I look forward to that commitment continuing and increasing in to the future. As an elected Board Member I would guarantee my commitment, dedication, honesty and enthusiasm in serving the Club and its members, proudly working again as part of a team to advance the community standing, reputation and future success of the Port Adelaide Football Club.

The Club has made substantial progress over the past four years, both on and off field. From a financial perspective, the Club is now consistently generating profits whilst investing heavily in our football program. As a Director of PAFC for the past 6 years, and prior to that a Director of the Port Adelaide Magpies for 4 years, I believe that I have made a significant contribution to the Club as it is today. In my role as Chair of the Finance & Audit Committee of the Club, I have been able to use my finance and I commercial skills gained from over 30 years in the professional and corporate environment to help steer the Club to a position where it is able to consistently generate a profit.

In re-nominating for my third term as a Director of the Club, I believe that stability at all levels in the Club is an important element to achieving our ultimate goal of a premiership at both AFL and SANFL levels. I believe that I can continue to make a significant contribution towards on field success and financial stability.

I have past and current experience as a director of sporting clubs and associations, not for profit associations and public listed corporations, both in Australia and overseas. I have been Chair of the Finance Committee for the majority of these organisations and companies.

In 2016 I was honoured to receive Life Membership of the Club.

I am a passionate supporter of the Club.

Glenise COULTHARD

I have a positive attitude, good communication and organisational skills, proven ability to a cooperative approach when working as a member of the community and in leadership teams I work well under pressure, yet maintain a keen sense of humour. I am passionate about my culture, language, family, including PAFC and the health and wellbeing of our communities.

I possess specialised working knowledge and expertise within each of these area and this is complemented by courses and experiences on a number of Boards. I am a quick leaner and develop new skills confidently which compliments existing structures. I pride myself in being able to operate in complex environments, one of competing demands and in doing so I am able to work with people from varying backgrounds and cultures (organisational, professional and social) I have the ability to incorporate varying views into decisions that I make.

I have always wanted to get involved with the PAFC because of my passion for Port Adelaide and I feel I now have the opportunity to do so. I consider myself to have the necessary skills and experience to contribute.

Port Adelaide isn't just a footy club. It's a big chunk of my life that I deeply love, as do my fellow members. I've loved Port for 36 years, always talk about Port with other members, many who've grown generational Port family traditions, some who've recently come aboard. I love talking Port; not just talking, but DOING, for Port Adelaide Football Club. Check my history.

The Club has achieved great things, but can improve - pushing new markets, pushing social media, listening to members, driving momentum while supporting Chairman and Board as the Club achieves strategic growth. As we negotiate transition into corporate awareness internationally, I won't allow us to lose our unique heritage at board level.

In my personal life and in businesses I've grown, I've always sought improvement. For all the greatness that's in our Club, I see more greatness. My leadership ethics are built on communication and integrity. I was frustrated, as were you, as local media tried to undermine our Club, so I created PortFanRadio to reach the Port faithful. Now we run shows daily.

I will bolster the Port board with my skills in communication, business strategy and growth. I have ongoing not-for-profit experience with the FBAA board, as a qualified accountant and member of the Entrepreneurs Organization. I aim to be the voice of Club members, as Port Adelaide accelerates its march to greatness ? nationally, and now internationally.

Greatness doesn't choose us, WE choose to be great. Only WE can make it happen.
