BYS Zoom meeting 4/15/2020 @ 7:18 Mins approved- motion moved by Christine and Angela 2nd Christine offered to become certified as a cpr/first aid training in order to train coaches. Cost will be 350 to be come certified. Christy motion Katie Sterk 2nd motion approved. Treasurer report- Basketball and cheer had small changes from report from receipts/charges. Storage containers- Can we collect a fee from each sport? The grant should help cover equipment charges so each sport should be able to contribute with out taking away from the kids and the sports. Ideas:What should the fees be? % of balance in bank account Flat fee based of space used by each sport?Just a flat fee? Storage container needs to wait till construction is done on the football field and the old bleachers. Storage space above the gym and the football locker room Cheer- registration projected to open May 1st Christy is working to find new uniforms the current ones are obsolete. Maybe won’t do specialty ones? Local vendors might be able to get them to us sooner then current vendor. Wrestling- Free style canceled due to covid all participants have been refunded. Nothing currently going on with the sport. Basketball- had a good year may have to register in September depending on the league. Bret is on board for being a director. K-1 will do 3on3 games in December. Breaking up older participants will help with managing the teams. Birch Bay parks and req. has been very helpful and are willing to schedule us gym use for once or twice a week. Football- Registration is currently open, after June first late fees apply. Football league is looking at using a tackle bar for 4/5th grade tackle. More to come if things develop. Volleyball- Registration projected to open May first. Boards positions- All board positions are open 2 board members will be returning to new positions. Email out via survey money positions so members can respond with interest. Voting will take place at the May meeting. Meeting adjourned at 8:23 ................
