Learn to connect with your Mind, Body & Spirit……… With Meditation, Guided Visualisation & Relaxation Complementary Vibrational Sound Healing with each class What happens in the Class?Using mindfulness techniques and more, learn easy techniques to release daily stress and anxiety and find a sense of calm and control over your thoughts.No experience necessary just a willingness to surrender your mind and connect with your inner spirit. You can make yourself comfortable by sitting or lying down.Your Five Week Blissful Experience begins ………..Week 1 :Breath-Focus- become conscious of how your breath enters and leaves your body and focuses your mind. As the breath deepens and you slow your breathing, you make a connection with your physical body in a simple and direct way. Your mind becomes less distracted with every breath and your heart-rate decreases automatically. Breath-focus opens the gateway to peace and connection to inner guidance.Week 2: Candle-Flame-Gazing- focus your mind using a candle flame. By gazing at the aura of the flame and breathing slowly, your mind will release the hold over your thoughts and internalise your experience.Week 3: Clear, Balance, Heal & Energise your Chakras -an inner journey taking you beyond your physical body. Experience how your thoughts influence emotions and affect your physical health. Learn how to clear and balance your Chakras, gaining awareness of your energy fields. Feel refreshed, relaxed and focussed.Week 4: Meet your Guides & Angels – a very personal journey to guide you into the sacred space of connection with your spirit guides and angels. Visualization techniques will guide you to connect with your Higher Self and universal healing. Week 5: Full Moon Meditation – celebrating the monthly cycle of the Moon and her influence upon our Mind Body & Spirit. A beautiful guided journey into her silvery depths to connect with your emotions and creative heart.‘Sounds from Source’ Vibrational Sound Healing. Each class includes vibrational sound healing with ‘Sounds from Source’ – tingshaw bells imbued with healing resonance.Intentioned, metaphysical sounds play quietly during the class to enhance the release of anxiety, stress and tension from your body at a cellular level.Samantha is a Holistic Therapist and Intuitive Artist offeringprivate sessions and classes at the Kia Kaha Centre in Cockatoo;Visit Ph. 0409 444 066 Journey into the Self with Meditation & Relaxation You may have tried meditation in the past or be new to the whole idea of sitting silently for a while, experiencing the sensation of trying to quieten your busy mind and ignore your body telling you it is uncomfortable .If you approach these sessions as if your mind is a reluctant 2 yr old, you will probably be better prepared for some of the challenges that might appear;Lack of concentrationFidgetingIrritation FrustrationThese are all common issues that present themselves and may make you feel like giving up. Much like a two yrs old child though, the more patience, consistency and perseverance you can show to yourself, the more likely you will begin to feel the benefits.Be kind to yourself - if your mind is racing and it seems to take ages to reach a place of relaxation, just acknowledge the thoughts and feelings and re-focus your attention on your breath and on the FOCUS Phrases we will use in class. You may also find your own “Anchor” word - LOVE, PEACE, CALM , RELAX, BLISS, LET-GO are all positive, energetic words to use.Fairly soon, as you body and mind adjusts to the practice, you will find you are able to place your mind in the Present Moment, rather than your thoughts leading you into the past and future, creating worry and stress. You will then experience;Stillness in your mind & bodyRelaxation – just “being”AcceptanceLeting-goHelpful Tips - Make a sacred space in your home where you can be quiet and undisturbed and light a candle. This is your ‘anchor’ which signals intention to focus and relax to your mind and body. The act of lighting a candle sets your intention to connect with the Divine aspect of yourself and is also a visual signal to your mind and body that you are ‘internalising’.Meditation is a Spiritual, non-religious practice, which acknowledges spiritual connection to the Universe through unconditional love. It all starts with the SELF, so acknowledge what it is that brings you here and journal your experiences, thoughts and feelings after each session.Use the following pages to make your notes, sketch impressions, write your power-words – whatever comes to you.This is the start of your journey...........
