Southern Baptist Convention Statement of Purpose

Southern Baptist Theological Seminaries exist to prepare God-called men and women for vocational service in Baptist churches and in other Christian ministries throughout the world through programs of spiritual development, theological studies, and practical preparation in ministry. The seminaries are primarily designed as graduate professional schools.

Mission Statement

Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary serves the church by Biblically educating God-called men and women to be and make disciples of Jesus Christ.

I agree with and will teach within the parameters of the Baptist Faith and Message (2000) and the SBC Statement of Purpose and Mission Statement of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary as stated above. If at any time I change my theological position to one contrary to these documents, I will immediately deliver such a statement to the Dean in writing with an offer of my resignation from my teaching post.
