Education on best management practices for soybean growers with minimal experience as well as experienced growers continues to be needed.ObjectivesProvide NDSU research-based information to assist soybean growers with plant establishment, nutrition and protection to economically optimize seed yield. Extension response(planned activities – meetings/workshops, bulletins, field days, etc.)Soybean production management presentations at regional meetings and tours including Lake Region Roundup, East and West Crop Schools, Best-of-the-Best in Wheat and Soybean Research, Research Extension Center Field Days, and Carrington REC Row Crop tour; and county crop production events. Production management articles in Crop and Pest Report, soybean variety performance circular, REC and county Extension webpages, Facebook pages, etc. Evaluation plan/toolWritten evaluations used during educational events to measure value of information and change in management practices that may increase soybean profitability.
