You will be presenting a typical day in the life of someone. This may be you and your family or someone famous. The project should demonstrate your ability to correctly conjugate reflexive verbs and other verbs to express a daily routine. The project should include illustrations that depict each activity. You may choose to demonstrate your understanding in one of the following formats:

Options:

1. A video acting out a daily routine. It must be school appropriate.

2. A visual (poster or collage displaying the routine / use real pictures or magazine clippings)

3. Powerpoint/Prezi or Google Slides presentation of a daily routine.

4. Create a children’s book depicting a daily routine.

Requirements:

For this project, you need to include the following components:

• At least 10 activities depicting a daily routine that use reflexive verbs

• At least 5 activities in a daily routine that do not use reflexive verbs

• At least one picture/drawing/clipart/ video clip showing each activity

• Your final project should show all activities in chronological order. So include time phrases to help transition through your story: a las…/ por la mañana…/ después/antes de…primero, luego, entonces, por fin…)

• A variety of subjects – this isn’t just about you! Talk about what other members do as well as what you do with them.

Your project should demonstrate your ability to:

➢ Talk about what happens when getting ready in the morning and evening and when (reflexive verbs)

➢ Talk about what happens in a typical day and when (present tense verbs)

➢ Talk about what people have just done (acabar de+ infinitive) / and what they have to do (tener que + infinitive).

Grading:

All writing will be done in class, any use of an on-line translator will result in an automatic 0.

Absolutely no English, spoken or written, should appear anywhere on your project!

Process

Pre-writing: Thursday and Friday in Class

You will write 10 different scenes that depict a daily routine. Each scene must include at least 2 sentences with details telling what is done and in what order. There should be a photo/image for each. A minimum of 8 frames must contain the use of DIFFERENT reflexive verbs.
